Totally unprofessional. Frankly, I wouldn't let this company anywhere near my house again. This company was brought in because I have a home warranty after buying the house earlier this year. I had a leak develop in the dining room with water running down the electric light from the ceiling above. We shut the power off to that room. From the time I talked to this company it was 3 weeks before the leak was fixed. The leak was from a drain in the upstairs bathroom. The cut a whole in the ceiling of the dining room and put a sleeve with clamps on the line and connected galvanized pipe to plastic pipe, usually a no-no. Then comes the best part. While cutting a hole in the drywall, the plumber destroyed the drywall and then threw it away. Now there is almost a 2 square foot hole in the ceiling that has to be repaired.
When i called back the service tech that called me (it was his cell phone) he started yelling and screaming he's doing his job and its the main office fault they can't do their ******* job and leave him alone.. what a great representation of their brand. ABSOLUTE JOKE.. I can't get a single person to even call me back... Then after calling the main office and saying what happened they sent someone out who eventually fixed the job. The service tech called me the F word and because i used HSA i had no other option since i already paid 75.00. I never lost my cool with the guy on the phone, i only called his number after nobody in the main office would pickup.. (right to voicemail) I only had his number because he called me the first day he came out. To add insult to injury his diagnosis was completely wrong and I did not need a new replacement pipe... just some culling around the drain.. DO NOT USE THEM.
I had to call them to come back to adjust the shower. The cold water setting was turned on too high therefore causing a lukewarm shower. They came to adjust with no issue and no extra charge.
Our gas water heater went out on 12/3. I called our Home Warranty thru HSA to repair/fix at 7:30AM. They told us Wiese would be the contractor(no choice when using HSA) to come out and check unit for approval to replace. Wiese would call us soon. They did not call by 8:30AM so I called them. They called back at 9:50AM to let me know someone would be there in 20-30minutes. Service guys from Wiese arrived at 10:20AM. They checked unit and verified it was bad. There were several other things they said they had to do to bring up to code and modifications to connect to new water heater. They gave me price and itemized. I have no idea if these were legit but they are not covered under the home warranty and were extra costs to me. The HSA warranty doesn't cover these additional costs which is a different subject/review.
Wiese came back the next morning to install. The guys were good, got things done, and cleaned up pretty good. All together a new water heater cost me $455 total ($75 deductible to HSA and $380 to Wiese for extras). The whole process went better than expected considering it has a home warranty. Most of my frustrations were with HSA home warranty not Wiese.
Wiese did a decent job overall.
Wiese sent a highly trained and professional plumber who was able to quickly analyse the damage to two showers, retrieve the needed repair parts from his well stocked truck, and complete the repairs in half an hour.
This plumber is highly skilled.Licensing
