"Bobby and his crew were great! Bobby was a wonderful, responsible project manager, who stopped by at the beginning and throughout the project to ensure everything was done correctly. His crew is full of efficient, really great men and we are very impressed with their work. They arrived on time every day, did expert work, and completed the project much quicker than we expected. I would highly recommend Lovell's Hardwood Flooring to anyone who has any sort of hardwood flooring needs."

"Nakoda was awesome. He started his estimate by educating me on the best flooring to pick out at the right price point. This made it easy to hire him because he didn't care who I chose the flooring from, so I was able to get a great deal and he picked up the flooring for me. Nakoda's crew was very polite and incredibly friendly. The guys did really good work and were efficient with their time. I'm thrilled with the end result. These guys did my whole house and paid attention to detail, making sure the floors were perfect. Nakoda also hooked me up with a painter who came in with a very reasonable bid and was able to work around Nakoda and they communicated with each other on being able to effectively finish the job w/o stepping on each others toes. Hire Kostoff Construction! They do amazing work, are insured, offer financing and come in underneath the big flooring companies in price."

"My lasting impression is that Cody takes pride in what he does. My floors were long overdue for some TLC after an extended time of neglect. Got a fair quote, set a project start date, Cody's crew put in the hard work and the end result is a very happy customer. The decision to stain my golden oak floors dark (Jacobean) was mine; but the confidence knowing Cody was going to do an excellent job was on him. It can be nerve wrecking when you are doing home projects from selecting the contractor to the final details of color selection; it is refreshing when your contractor can take the burden of the end result off your shoulder. I would highly recommend them for your hardwood floors needs and encourage you to have the confidence you will love your floors."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

There are many benefits to hiring a professional floor cleaner. First, these flooring pros know the right chemicals for your flooring type, which is essential for its longevity. Likewise, they have the proper deep-cleaning equipment, which is often more complex than a mop or broom. Not only that, but deep cleaning your floors can be a time-consuming process, and by hiring a professional, you can spend that time on other home improvement projects.

Yes, your kitchen flooring should extend under your dishwasher. It is essential for creating a level and stable surface for the appliance and preventing moisture from seeping into the subflooring, which is costly to repair. Working with a kitchen contractor will ensure the new flooring accounts for the height of the dishwasher so it sits under the countertop properly without any glaring gaps.

Contractors commonly install floors before cabinets during a kitchen remodel. It’s the standard option when installing hardwood, vinyl, and tile flooring. Installing flooring first helps prevent height misalignment, ensures a seamless appearance, and saves extra flooring work and costs if you plan to replace or remove any cabinets later.

Carpet installers use furniture sliders or blankets to protect your furniture during the installation process. They handle each piece with care to minimize the risk of damage. Additionally, they may employ techniques such as lifting and shifting furniture rather than dragging it across the floor to prevent scratches or other marks. If you have particularly delicate or heavy items that need to be moved, discuss special handling with the installers beforehand.

While it's possible to cover asbestos tile with carpet, it's not recommended. Encapsulating tile beneath carpet doesn't eliminate the health risks. Over time, the asbestos tiles could degrade, releasing fibers into the air and potentially contaminating the carpet. Disturbance during carpet installation or removal might also release fibers.
