The sales rep doesnt lie, she just omits information and gives vague and non-committal answers. The 3 installers spoke very little English and had no idea how to do the job, didnt have the materials needed and the price increased considerably based on how the work was done. Dont go by the price! The service after the sale was the worst!

The lady over the phone and the guy that came out were wonderful. The installlers get here and none of them speak any english?? I tried to explain to them I need padding on the complete step not just the foot steps. They seen when they took the original padding up how it was. They finished and 6 months later I can feel where the padding stops on each step, literally.. they also left a lot of carpet here when they left after I told him to take it away. Next time at least bring an interpreter. I paid a lot of money for this padding and carpet only to be unsatisfied months later. Empire customer service sucks.

Unfortunately, the sales rep did not measure correctly. The installer caught the mistake and it became a two day job. But they gave a discount when I asked for one and the installer did a good job. I am waiting to see if any carpet bubbles up after 6 months.
