The oak floors that they refinished were laid in 1959 and were in pretty bad shape, with stains in multiple areas and burns around the fireplace. In just 3 days they stripped and refinished the top floor of my Cape Cod style house plus 2 bedrooms, the living room, 2 hallways and 3 closets on the main level. "Very happy. Floor looks beautiful, and price was very fair. John Rankin was easy to coordinate with beforehand. He hung plastic to protect our cabinets and basically walled off the area. We paid extra for him to come back after the floor was sealed and put ram board down to protect the newly finished floor from other contractors doing other jobs in the house. Very happy, give him a call if you need wood floor work!"

He and his assistant did a fantastic job and the quality was outstanding. He was creative in the interfacing with other rooms and added detail wood crafting to make the finished floor look outstanding. I would highly recommend him and hire them again for future projects.
