"Ray and his team are miracle workers! Our home is a renovated 40's farmhouse with multiple additions. "I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Once we realized that that our ice dams on the roof were causing water intrusion in the house...we had to get on the mission fast. It was Saturday - I wasn't sure if I would be able to find anyone to answer my call - let alone be available to do my job. To my surprise and pleasure - Calvin not only answered the phone immediately - but said that he would fit me into his growing schedule for the day. Which was very important to me as the next day (Sunday) was supposed to be much warmer and a great deal of melting was to be expected. Calvin came through on his promise and got to us later in the afternoon. He assessed the problem (multiple points on the roof were a risk)...and got to it. They chipped away at all the "rivers" of ice, removed icicles and put a great deal of ice melt on the roof to continue to do its work after they were finished. With the sun and warmer temps today the ice melt is working like a charm - and we no longer have water coming into the house. What a relief! I would not hesitate to hire Calvin again or recommend him to anyone. He even followed up today (Sunday) to make sure that all is well. He's a keeper - and has earned a spot in my phone's contact list!"

We found universal windows direct, Almost a week ago they were supposed to install the new windows, but they brought the wrong size windows (way smaller than what we have now), long story short they want to install these smaller windows inside the old windows, some how retrofit the old windows and get these in. We were never told or explain this. We were expecting window replacement. Now we can not get a hold of them to see when or if they are bringing the right size windows. Oh yeah do not do fall for the loan deal with them, they charge you with the loan on day one, 8 weeks before they're supposed to deliver the windows. Now we have a loan and no windows. They took the money and the windows and ghosted us, been calling every day to talk to them for a solution and every time they are not available."

"We hired K-Guard to replace our gutters with their leaf free gutter system in the fall of 2016. The sales rep came out and looked at our house and did not express any concerns. Our roof is shaped like an "H" so has several internal angles. During light rains, the gutters perform as advertised. During moderate or heavy rains, we get waterfalls at all of the internal angles. I emailed our sales rep about this and he came out and slapped some ugly mesh in the corners that didn't help the issue much. During the next follow up we were told "Sorry, that's just the design of your roof. There's nothing we can do about it." We have just learned to live with it. Fast forward to 2020, the gutters are showing signs of a clog. I can shine a light into them and see the dirt and debris build up under the shield. We called K-Guard to take advantage of their "Lifetime Clog Free Guarantee" only to be told they won't even come out to look at the issue unless we pre-approve a $150 charge if they "determine the issue isn't due to a clog." We spent nearly $15,000 on gutters and this is the kind of value we have received. Avoid this company at all costs."
