"So we had a custom entertainment center built. We initially were gonna use a California closet type of business but wanted real wood not laminates. He met with us quickly and got a plan together. The process took about 8 weeks from first meeting to being completed but this was during the Xmas season. He kept in touch and kept us updated. He brought the finished product in to the house and installed it over 1.5 days. The quality was top notch. The painting of the product actually looks flawless. Very happy and impressed. Cost was very reasonable compared to laminate and non wood products.i would submit pictures but some reason it s not offering that option."

"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

"With the goal of replacing all flooring in the house (including conversion from carpet to hardwood) the company owner provided prompt on-site consultation.  This project needed to be coordinated with a gut and remodel of the kitchen and powder room. Ultimately, we chose to use Teppo's for the entire remodeling job.   Kevin made several visits to the house in the evening, bringing samples of cabinets, counters and flooring.  He coordinated a showroom visit with his favored cabinet and counter supplier, then returned with the kitchen designer twice to check measurements and design ideas.  He was knowledgable and easily addressed concerns about several small details in the remodeling process.  In the process, Kevin did not over-promise or gloss over specifics.  The price quote was in line with four other quotes that we had received but we saved a considerable amount by using Teppo's  family flooring wholesale connections - a savings that we applied towards nicer outfitting of the kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops.  His cabinet and countertop vendor discounts were also substantial.  We are excited to begin the project in the next few weeks.  Kevin is very professional (as are his vendors), listens very well to the customer and incorporates these points into his planning."

"The remodeling was done in 2008.  It went well and we were pleased with the work.  The problem arose when we needed repairs in 2013.  We had cabinet doors that were damaged by a handicapped person and called to see about getting the doors repaired or replaced.  I called the business office at least 6 times and left messages that were never returned.  One time someone in the office gave me the owner's cell phone number--I left numerous messages that were never returned. Lacking a response  I had another contractor call to see if he could get information about the details  of the brand and type of cabinets that had been used in 2008.  He also got no response from the owner.

"Rich is easy to work with and does a job with attention to detail.  We have used him for several small to medium projects and been satisfied each time.  At times our actual cost exceeded our estimate, however, there was always a valid unexpected reason during the process for the added cost.  We will use his services again, when the opportunity arises.  He usually works either alone or with one other person, so any given job could take some time.  This was not an issue with our projects, but if you were in a time crunch, I would inquire with him as to availability of additional man-power.

Cabinet Making questions, answered by experts

Medicine cabinets are a convenient storage solution, but they’re not the only option. People often use alternatives like open shelving, recessed wall niches, freestanding cabinets, and mirrored bathroom vanities to replace traditional medicine cabinets. These offer storage space while allowing for a more customized and modern look in the bathroom.

Custom cabinets made from solid wood tend to last the longest, remaining in good condition for 20 to 50 years. Cabinet lifespan depends on upkeep, the amount of heat and moisture inside the home, and general wear and tear. Popular hardwood options include oak, cherry, maple, walnut, and hickory. Its longevity means that solid wood is more expensive than alternative materials like furniture board, laminate, and plywood. The average cost of solid wood cabinets ranges from $100 to $1,200 per linear foot.

You can stack upper kitchen cabinets, but they may not fit neatly. Because upper kitchen cabinets are typically available in these standard sizes—12, 15, 18, 24, 30, 36, and 42 inches—you can stack various-sized upper cabinets. But, depending on your ceiling height, these standard sizes may not work together. That’s why smaller stacked cabinets are a much more stylish and economical choice.

Make sure your shelves are no more than 12 inches deep. Any deeper and it will become hard to access items towards the back of the shelf. Yet, for larger walk-in pantries, homeowners may prefer 15- to 18-inch shelving to make room for larger appliances and cookware.

Kitchen cabinets can hold a whopping 500 pounds, but that is only possible if you attach them correctly. They must be anchored securely with long screws driven straight into the wall studs for solid support. Depending on your cabinets and the installer, some upper cabinets use specialized hanging systems or brackets for extra reinforcement, ensuring they stay put no matter how full they get.
