I have an absolute passion for carpentry. I am a craftsman dedicated to quality and am not an all in one contractor. I do trim-work, custom furniture , built-ins , wainscoting , entertainment centers , office pieces , and fireplace surrounds. I offer carpentry services specific to the aforementioned products only. I have agreements and designs signed prior to work beginning and am very organized with that aspect of contracting. In order to provide a high level of service I take about 5-10 projects a month. If you find custom woodworking on a Pinterest post I can more than likely do that for you. I only measure for new work when my schedule allows and take great care to make the most out of our time. If you are looking for a carpenter capable of doing high quality work with zero excuses you have found exactly that. I let my work speak for itself and take great pride in being friendly and professional.

"When I first bought my house in 2018 it was very outdated and needed a lot of flooring done. I went online and all of the reviews for Frederick's were reassuring that they would take good care of it. My services were preformed in late 2018. I'd like to say I had no problems with the installation or service of those who came to my house. They were professional and even admitted when they accidentally broke one of my windows and paid for it. My issues are with the business itself. There were a few mistakes with the vinyl flooring so my husband made a call to the store in 2019 (less than a year after the services.) After a few calls we finally were able to get Nick to come out to fix them. He fixed one mistake but said he didn't have the correct item to fix the other one. He told my husband he would call him the next day or later in the week. We never heard from him again.. I understand he is probably busy running the store so we tried to be understanding and starting calling the store again. We talked to Mickie several times and were told Nick would get back to us. He still has not.. My husband has continued calling and talked to other employees and still nothing. His call logs on his cell phone show he has called over ten times now. It is now 2020 and I've pretty much come to terms with the fact that my floor is not getting repaired.. Several months ago the carpet started bunching and needs to be re-stretched but I'm afraid to try calling back again. It's very upsetting. I would love to say I recommend them because the products themselves turned out lovely, but customer service matters."

"We met with Leanne in April and talked about the AWR process, made our choices and, because we had already investigated other similar companies decided quickly to go with American Wood Reface. Within a couple of months Terry came out to take precise measurements and go over specific details in order that all the materials could be ordered and ready for our start date of October. The cabinets were refaced in the color White Dove; the center island was refaced in a contrasting color (sage green); a built-in desk and cabinet above were removed and replaced with a custom built pantry with a microwave cubby; two cabinets were moved six inches to accommodate a 6-burner gas range and a hood above; the dark granite was replaced with light colored Cambria quartz (Crowndale); all cabinets were extended to the ceiling to alleviate the need to clean above & crown molding added; new pulls installed on all drawers & doors; pots & pans drawers installed; LED undercabinet lighting added; subway tile backsplash installed; and a two bowl stainless sink installed. All of this was accomplished by one master carpenter, Brandon, who worked Saturdays and even one Sunday to complete the job in the projected time. He cleaned the kitchen work area each evening so that we could use it if we had needed, which we did not during the renovation. The garage work area was cleaned and all tools/saws stowed each evening so we could park in the garage. His attention to detail in all areas of the work was exemplary. The price Leanne quoted is the price we paid! We are thrilled with our new, bright kitchen!"
