"The service went perfect he came out to see if he could re-install my old medicine cabinet but with it being so old I had to order another one and he came right out to install for me, as well as fixing my squeaky bathroom door for me. I will definitely use him again."

"Jeff was amazing! He came out same day to give an estimate for our sink install and the work was done the same week. Jeff came out during the sink install with his plumbing contractor and it was so smooth. We can’t wait to use Jeff again for future projects!! 10/10- highly recommend!"

Customers say: Quick response

"We had a inground pool installed this past year by Chad Zaber construction The planning, the workmanship and finished product were nothing short of outstanding. All deadlines were met or exceeded, which is a very rare thing to happen in todayâ  s world with a shortage of labor. Chad laid out a plan, communicated the plan and delivered. I would highly recommend Zaber construction for any inground pool or any other construction projects that he does. Chad is a rarity in todayâ  s unstable contractor world. Also the follow up throughout the summer and through the closing on the pool was outstanding. Chad had great follow up and answers any questions that we needed throughout the season. "Brad Crawford of G Squared Custom Products and Services did a fantastic job installing crown and picture-frame molding and chair rails in our front hallway. He also painted the hall (and the rear entry hall and an interior hall) and painted our front door, which had been black, to a lovely shade of green. He also installed a new storm door, and last year he installed a stained-glass window in the transom over our front door. I highly recommend Brad for your fabricating and painting needs. Meticulous attention to detail, and he's a complete professional."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Regular inspections ensure no blockages, structural stability, prevention from fire hazards, and maintenance of optimal heat venting, safeguarding household safety.

Yes, a faulty or broken light switch can be a serious fire hazard. Malfunctioning switches, often due to loose connections, exposed wiring, or overheating, can cause sparking or arcing. If you hear a crackling, popping, or hissing sound when you use the switch, it indicates live electricity arcing inside, which is a significant hazard that can ignite nearby flammable materials. If you suspect your light switch is faulty, turn off the power to that circuit at the breaker and contact a qualified electrician to remedy the issue.

No, you should never leave a fireplace burning overnight or unattended during the day. While fireplaces are made to contain fires, fires can and do spread from fireplaces, so it’s crucial that you’re there to monitor them and put them out if needed. If you’re worried about putting out a fire before bed, stop feeding it fuel long before bedtime and actively put out the fire using your poker, a shovel, and some baking soda.

Yes, you can close off a fireplace both temporarily and permanently with extremely wide price ranges. Temporary solutions involve fireplace plugs that can be inflated to block air and deflated to open the fireplace, covers, and boards. Permanent methods of shutting off fireplaces usually involve bricking up the fireplace or covering it with drywall. No matter the method, it’s probably best to hire a professional.

A hot fire alone will not remove significant creosote buildup and can be dangerous, as it risks causing a chimney fire. While the warmth from a fire can help loosen stuck tar, making treatments like creosote logs more effective, it is not a substitute for proper cleaning. For existing creosote, the safest and most effective method is to have your chimney professionally cleaned by a chimney sweep.
