"Ani and his brother were timely, communicative and sent updates when each piece of work was done. The old pool house old building had issues that were revealed as work progressed, and Ani gave me quotes for what each repair would cost. He also helped me pick tile, explain why a floor covering of tile would make more sense than wood in the house. He painted, replaced the roof, created a vent, and created a shutoff switch for the pipe so that a leak might not happen in the future. Above all, the project was completed on time within his estimates. In addition, he was very good to work with and together the project came together very well. He was clear and direct, which is how I like working with someone. I would recommend A&K construction and will definitely hire them again for future projects."

"We highly recommend "The Hired Hand" (formerly named B Squared Home Solutions). They made numerous repairs to our deck, and completely refinished it. The deck is 30 years old, and now looks as good as new. Also, they repaired a set of wooden stairs leading from outside into our basement. I thought they were beyond repair, but are now fully functional. They started the project on the date promised, kept us apprised of their progress, and finished the job on time and at the quoted cost. We are very pleased with the quality of their work, and plan to have them do future projects."

"What an amazing experience! It is very rare to find a business with a group of people who are as knowledgeable, personable, professional, and reliable as the family who owns The Climate Chief. I am one of those customers who really do their homework, from buying toasters to installing insulation and everything in between. I also ask a LOT of questions. (Not all vendors love that!) It took me a couple of weeks to find a company that could provide the exact solution I needed for my home. I use the word solution because they did not just say, **Here is the insulation we sell. This is the cost** They actually took the time to evaluate my entire attic and home to find the combination of things that made the most **big picture** sense. I have never received such a comprehensive written proposal from ANY other company in all the years I have lived Upstate. They also gave me a list of add-on options and explained the combinations. I could take all of them or none of them. At no time was there any **upsell** technique or the famous **let me call my manager** nonsense that you often get from service providers. They contacted me with a detailed email the night before the start date to let me know when they would be arriving, who would be on the team, exactly what they would be doing, and how long it would take. Wow. It was so refreshing to communicate with professionals who answered all of my questions and actually welcomed them before the project began and during the installation. I had a specialized attic project that required a lot of expertise. I felt very confident in their abilities for the entire length of the project and would highly recommend Mark {father, founder), Gary {initial consultation/evaluation, son), Bill (job foreman, another son), and the whole team at The Climate Chief. In addition, even though their proposal was much more comprehensive than any other, the quote was not only fair but extremely competitive. He came up with a unique but very effective solution to a floor rot problem and executed it very well and in a timely manner. He was also looking out for our interests by showing us where we could save money and still do things the right way. The job he was hired for was a rotted floor, door, storm door, and partial wall at the entryway to our sunroom caused by splash damage from our deck railing getting behind our siding and the poor initial build quality.
