The team from The Climate Chief were very professional from day one. They laid out plastic sheeting to protect our recently refinished hard wood floors. Cleaned up any messes from the blown in insulation. Covered the doorway by utilizing TEVEC house wrap and tape so we would not lose much heat when the hoses were running. At the end of each day one of the employees would pick up the plastic sheeting and sweep the floors and they would pick up all the tools so not to leave a cluttered workplace inside and outside. Billy Mike, and crew were very happy and cheerful while at work. Very knowledgeable about how to seal up any of the existing open areas. They removed all the existing fiberglass insulation before replacing with 18 inches of cellulose R60. A very professional job we are very pleased to say. We noticed a warmer difference in room temperatures right away! We would strongly recommend them to others!

What an amazing experience! It is very rare to find a business with a group of people who are as knowledgeable, personable, professional, and reliable as the family who owns The Climate Chief. I am one of those customers who really do their homework, from buying toasters to installing insulation and everything in between. I also ask a LOT of questions. (Not all vendors love that!) It took me a couple of weeks to find a company that could provide the exact solution I needed for my home. I use the word solution because they did not just say, **Here is the insulation we sell. This is the cost** They actually took the time to evaluate my entire attic and home to find the combination of things that made the most **big picture** sense. I have never received such a comprehensive written proposal from ANY other company in all the years I have lived Upstate. They also gave me a list of add-on options and explained the combinations. I could take all of them or none of them. At no time was there any **upsell** technique or the famous **let me call my manager** nonsense that you often get from service providers. They contacted me with a detailed email the night before the start date to let me know when they would be arriving, who would be on the team, exactly what they would be doing, and how long it would take. Wow. It was so refreshing to communicate with professionals who answered all of my questions and actually welcomed them before the project began and during the installation. I had a specialized attic project that required a lot of expertise. I felt very confident in their abilities for the entire length of the project and would highly recommend Mark {father, founder), Gary {initial consultation/evaluation, son), Bill (job foreman, another son), and the whole team at The Climate Chief. In addition, even though their proposal was much more comprehensive than any other, the quote was not only fair but extremely competitive. I feel so strongly about their work ethic that I authorized the company to give my contact info to potential customers. It is so nice to find a trustworthy local business that I can share with others in the community.

Start to finish, this company is 5 stars. It's so refreshing to hire a company that does what it promises. Their communication was outstanding. They showed up on time every day. They were very respectful of our house, always took shoes off to walk through and carefully covered everything with plastic to protect from the dust. Gary provided a very detailed and thorough estimate, offering suggestions but never upselling. Billy, Mark and Aaron worked super hard and accomplished so much in a very short time. Mark, the dad, supervised and kept us updated throughout the process. When there was a minor issue that arose, they were all over it and fixed it without question or hesitation. I wish all companies operated like this one. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

We had Climate chief re-insulate the attic of our very old cold drafty farm house. We are thrilled with the finished product. The house was noticeably warmer the day they finished, well worth the cost. I can't believe how big of a difference it made....we should have done it years ago. As far as customer service Climate Chief was 10 stars, they came out, gave us an estimate and had the project finished in less than 2 weeks. Unheard of turn around on a project like that. We normally can't get people to call us back let alone complete the work they promise. The crew was so professional and clean, we joking said they were quieter than all the mice living in our attic. We couldn't be happier with our experience. Would hire them again in a heartbeat.

They explained each step of the project, and sent many pictures throughout the process. They were polite, professional and finished the work in the timeframe expected.

There were never any surprises; What they said, is what they did (and more). Mark, Gary, Bill and Mike were refreshingly easy to work with and the entire experience felt comfortable and family-like. We hired Climate Chief to address moisture and ventilation concerns in our home. We also hired them to install a new roof and new blown-in insulation as our home is in an area of extremely high winds. They did an outstanding job and we were very satisfied with their attention to detail and their communication. Gary kept us informed daily and Foreman Bill was easy to approach. Gary, Bill and Mike always listened and delivered what we needed and wanted, without question. They never rushed or compromised quality throughout the job. The entire team went above and beyond our expectations to ensure we would never again have to worry about our roof withstanding the high winds. We are currently in design discussions with them on a home addition project and a garage apartment project. With over 34 years of experience, there doesn't seem to be any project they cannot handle.

The service was above any beyond what we have experienced from anyone else we have hired. From the initial contact right through to the end of the project their service was outstanding. Gary, Bill, Mike and Joe were true professionals. The proposal we received was very detailed offering several options for the work we needed done to improve the ventilation and insulation in our two attics. We received daily texts letting us know their arrival time, photos of the progress and daily status updates on what was done and what was next. They took great care in covering up our furniture and floors, putting up plastic, etc. They did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day and their final cleanup at the end of the job was outstanding. Our property looks like they were never here. They did everything they said they were going to do and more. While they were here they found a couple additional items that needed to be corrected and promptly made the repairs. We can't say enough about the outstanding work they did. They will be our first call for any future projects.
