Customers say: Super punctual
"Responded very quickly to my inquiry, was at my house within minutes. Was able to return that same morning and had the job done in less than 90 minutes. Looks great, would never know that we had a problem to begin with. Would definitely recommend them to anyone and for future projects."

"Wow! We are thrilled with our new porch. Phil and co tackled a beast of a concrete porch on the front of our house and replaced it with a beautiful entry deck. Their attention to detail was impressive, they managed the "surprises" with ease (Oh look, a rotted support timber under your front door. Let's replace that.), and I felt confident throughout that they were committed to doing quality work at a fair price. They kept me apprised of all developments, provided me with informed choices to make throughout, and worked hard to give us something that we'd be happy with for many years. I look forward to more projects with Sanhil. Highly recommended."

"Dan and his crew have been great to work with. The crew has been here every day working hard. Had a communication snag early on but they're getting the job done and the house is being transformed into something beautiful! They are finishing up as I write this review and anticipate that when I go take a look outside that I will be a very happy customer!"

"Great communication and attention to detail. Matt performed the work within the requested time frame and was respectful of my property. I definitely recommend him and will use him again. I gave the value for the money 4 stars because the charge seemed high, but it may not be - I did not get any other estimates, so I could be wrong about that. All home repairs seem high."

Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.
Typically, it’s more affordable to buy an existing home than it is to build a new one. New construction loan interest rates tend to be higher than interest rates for traditional mortgages. Additionally, the cost of materials is likely higher when building a new home than it was when an existing home was built (unless it’s a very new one). You’re also paying for all new appliances, finishes, permits, inspections, and connections for water, gas, and electricity.
Knowing if you need an architect for your project can be tricky, especially if you've never worked with one before. In general, small remodeling projects like replacing fixtures typically don't require the expertise of an architect. However, larger projects, like moving walls or adding an addition to your home, should include an architect to ensure the project is structurally sound.
