"Jon was amazing!! He was prompt, friendly and thorough. I had a huge stump from a locust tree removed . He said if the roots sprout he will come back, at no additional cost, to grind them again. I highly recommend Eco Tree!!"

"Sergio and his crew were great! They were on time and trimmed my neighbors tree that had over taken my property as agreed. The price was fair and reasonable. I'm one hundred percent satisfied and would use again. Cleaned up like they were never here."

"Max, the owner, personally came to the house and inspected what needed to be recovered. We spent time discussing problem areas and on how they will proceed, placement of equipment, removal and clean up. The bid was very reasonable, and on the day the work took place; they were 15 minuteâ s earlier than expected, when over the procedure once more and got to work. Within about 3 hours all the trees were down, limbs and stumpâ s removed. The crew worked safely and was careful of the next door neighborâ s home. I would highly recommend this company if you need trees removed. I have already rescheduled Kuston Tree Services to remove a dead Ash tree."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Most tree surgeons cost around $100 per hour or between $70 and $200 per hour for their services. You might get flat fees for more straightforward services, like a tree assessment, tree removal, stump grinding, and one-off treatments, but many times, treatments for tree diseases or pests will be charged based on an hourly rate or a per-visit rate. Since the cost of a tree surgeon can vary widely, it’s best to speak with an arborist near you to get an idea of what your particular issue will cost to correct.

Some fast-acting products can rot a tree stump in four to six weeks. Keep in mind, these products contain harsh chemicals that may prevent regrowth in the area. Other products, like fertilizer that contains lots of nitrogen, can enhance the process and rot a stump in about a year. (This is compared to the ten years it can take naturally for a stump to rot.)

Maple trees start the growing season by developing small groups of red flowers where the tree's fruit, the samaras, will appear in the coming weeks. Later in spring, the samaras, which many call whirlybirds or similar names, develop into single-winged seed carriers that spin when falling or drifting in the wind.

Tree roots don’t necessarily break through concrete on their own, but they can certainly take advantage of existing cracks, even very small ones. As roots grow, they expand the cracks, making them larger and leading to serious and costly foundation damage. It’s a good idea to have repairs on any foundation cracks you’re concerned about.

Salt, herbicide, light deprivation, boiling water, and burning can all help dissolve a tree stump. You can also bury the tree stump in soil or mulch to help it rot naturally. Killing a tree stump prevents future regrowth, but you may also remove it by digging it out or grinding it.
