Best asphalt driveway pros near Tillson, NY

"Frank and team do QUALITY work with a capital Q. I was putting a new driveway on top of a 30 year old driveway. The prep was meticulous, they arrived on time, and the final details - the tapering of the asphalt on the edges and by the entrance, the leveling by the driveway concrete, etc, was all near perfect."

"I reached out to Muddy Driveways and Paving a few weeks back to get an estimate for paving my driveway. Previously the driveway was a combo of dirt, stone, grass and mud. The first thing that impressed me was Zack actually picked up the phone when I called. He came out the next day to give me an estimate. I had 4 other pavers give me estimates before Zack and he was by far the most detailed in his measurements and explained every in and out of the project. He spent at least an hour with me going over everything and consistently gave me real answers. He doesn't tell you only what you want to hear, he gives you the real deal and explains any possible hiccups that could occur. I booked the job a couple days later and my driveway was paved about 20 days after. Throughout the process communication was excellent. I knew when stone was getting delivered, equipment was being dropped off and when prep and paving would be completed. Zack and Jim were on site for the entire process. They have a great dynamic and work so well together. On prep day they walked me through everything, explained what they were doing and why, spray painted the outline of the driveway and asked me for my input. They stoned, graded and rolled on a Tuesday, and paved on Thursday. On paving day Zack and Jim did what they do best and produced a beautiful driveway. They communicated the entire time and asked me multiple times throughout the day if everything looked good and if I was happy. They took my requests and input seriously and did a phenomenal job. At the end of the day they cleaned up everything explained all of the do's and dont's of a new driveway. Money well spent is the best way to describe my new driveway. Do not hesitate to hire Zack and Jim to do your driveway. They will not disappoint."

"I LOVE MY FRESHLY COMPLETED DRIVEWAY DONE BY R. DEGROODT II. This company started early in the morning and didn't stop until the job was completed. I recommend. R. DeGroodt II for their expertise and know-how in mastering a beautiful driveway. The team of workers all knew how to work the machinery and hand tools brilliantly. R. "Mission Impossible (transforming an overgrown narrow, rutted, rooty dirt path into a gorgeous 3-ft.-wide edged stone walkway with a small patio and entryway) is complete, and we could not be happier. The installation makes a design statement without in any way overwhelming our 1876 farmhouse—the stone is incredible, the work is artful and solid, and the project seems to grow out of the landscape, exactly what we wanted. The artistry and attention to detail in choosing/placing the stones elevates the installation to something truly special. Since our primary residence is 90 minutes away, we greatly appreciated the numerous photos, texts, and calls to update us on progress, as well as Rock 'N Garden's reliability, timeliness, and punctuality. At the end, the job site was left clean as a whistle. This is five-diamond work, and we have already contracted for another project on our property."

"It went beautifully. We are very happy with the work and highly recommend them. Our friends and neighbors have all admired the fine job done by Richard Stanley and his crew. The only glitch was hearing back to set a date after we had called to say we were going to hire them. Once we got a call back, a date was set and the crew was here that day and on time."

"I have used JK a few times now and they are quick to answer and quick to come over and seal the driveway. Jim is a good man and a professional. The job came out great. I recommend Jim and his crew."

"Anton and his crew are the greatest! We truly enjoyed working with them, Anton is extremely responsive, extremely dedicated, and most importantly, a true artist/artisan. We asked him to use only reclaimed wood and the most environmentally sustainable materials. He researched the best environmentally sound ways to insulate our house (using stone wool and alternatives to Tyvek, which we did not want to use because it's from DuPont) and he made numerous trips farther upstate from our Mid-Hudson house to locate the perfect reclaimed wood at old barns that were being torn down and resold as reclaimed wood. He gut renovated our really skanky old house into a magnificent jewel of post and beam construction to the point that peoples' jaws drop when they walk in."
