Very satisfied with Keegan’s work

Perfection. I had a vague idea of what I wanted. Keegan brought a Zen aesthetic to create a peaceful, natural landscape that looks like it has always been here. Very reliable, flexible and communicative in terms of getting the work done. I highly recommend Rock-n-Gardens.

We are extremely pleased with Keegan's work at our house in Woodstock. He renovated large blue stone terraces, stairs, walls, a 150 feet canal, built a beautiful and functional firepit and also renovated the chimney with care. He will listen to your needs and execute with attention to details in a way that will last, thanks to his great experience working with stones. He also has a creative mind and an artistic touch if you are looking for advice. We love how his stone work blends in with the style of our 100 year old Woodstock house. We also like that he works with local people and materials. Highly recommend Rock-n-Gardens for any stone work in the area.

This is the second project that Keegan and the Rock N’ Gardens crew did for us. It was a more complex and ambitious project and they really knocked it out of the park. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome and working with Keegan and his crew was a genuine pleasure. They were flexible, well-paced, clean-working and great communicators. Keegan took the original design concept that we provided for him and brought it to a whole other level. As the project evolved, he was able to incorporate requests that we made as the patio was taking shape. He and his team were super responsive and, again, a really nice bunch of friendly and knowledgable artisans. His commitment to giving us an addition to our house that was satisfying and top quality was apparent from the beginning to the end of the project. He’s a serious artisan but he doesn’t have the ego that usually comes with that terrain and you can feel that in both the teamwork involved and in the finished product.

This is my second review of work performed by Rock 'n Gardens. Our first project—a large walkway/patio/entry installation--was so successful that we contracted for a short matching walkway to the front door with the leftover stone. The design challenge in this second project was to artfully tie the new work into three massive existing stone slabs so that the walkway would complement the scale of the existing slabs while not overwhelming the front of the house. Once again, we are delighted with the finished job. As with our first experience, professionalism, communication, and timeliness throughout this project were top notch. In fact, with a cold snap predicted, the Rock 'n Gardens crew, on their own initiative, arranged to finish the installation on a Saturday before the bad weather hit. That's above and beyond in my book. When we are ready for more stonework, we will definitely be calling Rock 'n Gardens.

Mission Impossible (transforming an overgrown narrow, rutted, rooty dirt path into a gorgeous 3-ft.-wide edged stone walkway with a small patio and entryway) is complete, and we could not be happier. The installation makes a design statement without in any way overwhelming our 1876 farmhouse—the stone is incredible, the work is artful and solid, and the project seems to grow out of the landscape, exactly what we wanted. The artistry and attention to detail in choosing/placing the stones elevates the installation to something truly special. Since our primary residence is 90 minutes away, we greatly appreciated the numerous photos, texts, and calls to update us on progress, as well as Rock 'N Garden's reliability, timeliness, and punctuality. At the end, the job site was left clean as a whistle. This is five-diamond work, and we have already contracted for another project on our property.

Keegan showed up for the initial view and listened to what I was looking for. Provided estimate in couple of days and we agreed upon the job. I wanted a flowerbed with plants that didn't require much tending, also a minimalistic look. The only requirement was to save some irises that my mom planted for me. Keegan and his associate Eddie cleaned up everything and prepared the flower bed for planting. They brought exactly what I wanted, various colorful grasses and lavender plants. They also restored two containers that were overgrown with weeds and when they cleaned them up, they planted bright yellow mums in them. They now rim the path to the house and make a marvelous point of entrance. Keegan also asked if I wanted a mulch or small pebble cover. I was intrigued by that as it brought to mind a Japanese simple gravel gardens and I agreed. The guys finished (took them two days for everything) and the front of the house looks marvelous now. They also cleaned up the small trees and the wild bush and bagged everything in recyclable paper bags. I found both men very friendly, kind and respectful. As a lone woman dealing with everything on my own, I felt very comfortable with both of them and I would recommend their services, especially to lone women who need this kind of help and are concerned about being taken advantage of. There is no fear of that happening.

Keegan and company did a beautiful job with the wall: we love it and our neighbors compliment his work on a daily basis. Estimate was casual, but he charged the amount he quoted even though the work took longer than anticipated.

Rock-N-Gardens did a wonderful job on my front entryway. Their suggestions at the planning stage were very helpful, and when I had one issue with the esthetic of one part of the project, they agreed and made the steps and sidewalk beautiful! Knowledgeable, hard-working, efficient, polite and cheerful, COVID-aware with masks at the ready, and able to work with my timeline! I will hopefully have them back again in the future!

Many Blue Stone Projects

Went great - they came out quickly for an estimate & then were able to schedule the work soon after we decided to go for it. Work was done very quickly, they cleaned it up better than it was before, and communication was excellent throughout.

Keegan and Adam did an amazing job replacing our outdoor staircase. The old one was a rickety death trap that we were scared to use because the steps were so loose and slippery. The new one is really solid, functional, and downright beautiful. We're really impressed with Keegan's work and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Keegan did an excellent job replacing our front path, he relaid & extended the stones in a very aesthetically pleasing way while also solving the drainage problem. The job was finished promptly & within budget. We will hire him again.

The Rock-N-Gardens team was awesome. They did an excellent job on our project, sent photos, and kept me updated at every step along the way. The end result was excellent and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend.

We hired Rock N Gardens to install Unilock patio pavers in my backyard. During the entire process, Keagan was very professional and knowledgeable about the construction and design of the new patio. He made very good suggestions on how to design the layout of the pavers and the brick edging. He also recommended a different layout in the midst of the project when we realized I had not ordered enough pavers. Keagan was always available to answer our questions and to address our concerns. He always returned my calls and texts and was very patient with us. We had no experience installing a patio and Keagan helped us address our questions and concerns. The final patio looks great and the workmanship was outstanding. He went to great lengths to make all of the pavers line up and align well. I recommend Rock N Gardens for future residential landscaping projects because Keagan is good to work with and he can be trusted, and he will deliver a good product.

Excellent. The owner, Keegan, helped us to formulate a plan for our property and his creative mind went to work. Keegan is conscientious and completed our landscaping and patio project in a timely fashion. We truly enjoyed working w Keegan and his crew because they were prompt, courteous, respectful of our property and as well reasonable priced. We received so many wonderful compliments on his work and we love our yard so much. The stone work that Keegan did for us is gorgeous. Keegan is an artist in the design and build utilizing stone. The project looks amazing and is holding up well to a rough climate Cloe, his wife sanded and repainted the porch and did a great job with the project. The porch looks like new

Keegan and his assistants are true artists. My project was complicated and took a few months to complete. The final wall system looks dry laid but is back mortared and incorporated drainage and reinforced concrete. Throughout the process, Keegan worked collaberatively with me to ensure the project's aesthetics and function fit both my needs and suited the demands of my location. The final project is stunning. Keegan worked consistently with great attention to detail, was relaxed and warm around my dog and cat who sometimes showed interest in the project, and stayed in communication with me throughout. He is a very knowledgeable and skilled mason.
