Quick and it was done right

These guys were great and gave me a great price! They did great work fixing my chimney, cleaning my gutters and power washing my house!! Definitely recommend them for any projects you have and I will be using them again in the future for home projects!!

Quoted a price the day before. Saying he had to replace wood and had to haul away the n waste left behind, made it seem like a larger job and only had to do less than half the work. When I spoke to him about the cost and not using the materials, not because he informed me but because I happened to see while they were working, he said that after seeing the roof, it did not need all the work but the price had to stay the same. I continued and got him to bring the price down. He also told me I needed to replace a boot, made it seem like he had to replace an entire pipe and it turned out to be a $10 piece of plastic and he tried to charge me $150. Also the piece he had looked like he already had it from another job.

Jamie did an excellent job on our flat roof replacement. His estimate was at a fair price. We are having him return to do 2 more jobs for us. Thank you Jamie.

Jaime was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive and flexible with scheduling the consultation and work. On the day of, they arrived early and did the repair work very professionally and left no mess behind. The price was just right. I would definitely hire JRG again.

Spoke to a few different contractors and they all were relatively around the same price but something that made me feel extremely comfortable about Jaime was the fact that he was able to listen and adjust with our needs. I gotta say. My project is about 90% done and I am writing this review because I am here to say that Jaime and his men have done a solid and beautiful job with excavation and installation of my pavers and footings. Very professional job done and we are extremely happy. I will be hiring him to do more work soon for sure.

We needed a new roof.. We had an estimate done on Thursday.. They gave us a great price to R&R the roof shingles down to the plywood.. The supplies came on Friday and they installed on Saturday.. Talk about fast service..

Very professional and out of everybody I was reaching out they were the only ones who showed up, gave a fair estimate, and ultimate got the job done. They didn't charge to come see the issue either. I can now sleep in peace knowing that winter is around the corner and I don't have to worry about a leak. I highly recommend JRG and I would definitely use them again in the future. They are now my go to team before reaching to anyone else.

Did not complete project as I asked. Explained what I wanted done and did the first part of the project very well(which entailed fixing a concrete slab that was crumbling from a previous project). When it came to the second part of the project, which was patching and re-surfacing a vertical cement foundation on our garage, he stated first that he needed to find the right cement, then later stated it was too difficult to do the job. Several texts went unanswered. Frustrated with the response, I terminated the project, with only 1/2 payment rendered for completion of first part of project. Not sure if what I was asking was beyond level of expertise, and he did understand what I wanted..it was just frustrating. I will now try to find someone else to complete what I want done.

Jaime spent some time preparing an old porch concrete floor for new cement to make it level. This included fastening two different kinds of wire mesh onto the old floor to add strength and reduce the possibility of cracking and scoring it. He also scored a concrete window sill that wrapped around the porch. Then he poured concrete on the floor, leveled it, and put down porcelain tile on the floor and sills, accurately cutting the edge pieces, then finishing up with the grouting. The result is a very good-looking, level, solid tile floor with matching window sills. I am very happy with the results, and would most definitely hire Jaime for a concrete/tile job again. In fact, I did hire him again within a couple of weeks, to repair a section of the wall with missing stucco. The repaired section perfectly matches the rest of the wall. Jaime charged a reasonable amount for both jobs. You cannot go wrong with this guy.

We hired Jaime to do some landscaping in our back yard after we had our inground pool removed. We needed to level the yard, remove some small trees, add top soil, and prepare the turf for grass seed. He performed the work with heavy equipment on a raining weekend, even though we told him it was probably not the best time. He assured us it would be fine. We waited for results and after a several weeks we called him back and told him this was not acceptable. Especially for $2500 which was the same price other more professional landscaping companies were quoting. He re-seeded the yard and said to give it time. Refusing to understand that the reason the grass was not growing properly and that the yard was not level was because he didn t put enough topsoil. He kept complaining that the native soil is too clay filled. Again which is why more topsoil was needed to do the job right. We waited for the next season (spring 2020) to tell him that this was not a good job and that the lawn is very bumpy and uneven. He promised he would bring topsoil and fix it in July when the ground is very dry. We ve been calling and texting him for days and he doesn t respond or call back. I can see that he s reading the messages but refuses to respond. We ve spent the initial $2500 and over $500 in attempting to improve it ourselves and the yard still looks terrible. We will have to pay another landscaper to fix this. We are extremely upset and disappointed in Jaime for bailing on us. I rarely leave bad reviews and feel bad for having to do this but he s left us no choice by completely ignoring us after he promised he would make it right. I cannot recommend this guy for any work.

Very careful and precise. Built a beautiful staircase on a very steep slope in my backyard. Perfect angle that follows the slope of the hill. Easy to climb with handrail on one side. Used pressure treated lumber. Paid great attention to detail. Highly recommend Jaime Gualan and JRG Construction.
