Lozier is also licensed by the New York State Department of Labor for the handling of asbestos materials (restrictive, non-abatement activities) and mold assessments. "Awful, first appt serviceman arrived with no ladder, even though I clearly described the job as venting from the 2nd floor and a ladder would be needed, rescheduled for next day, OK. Next day serviceman arrives does the job and leaves, we think everything is OK. A couple days later, my wife does a couple loads of laundry and the laundry room feels like a sauna, apparently a leak in the vent. Called, had to wait a week for an appt, service man came and taped the duct extensively. Next day the dryer is taking a long time to dry, Signal on the dryer indicated an air flow problem. Call again and had to wait another week for an appt. The next appt was yesterday 10/23 I missed the call from the serviceman, but when I called today was told that he was here at my house. I had 5 people at the house, myself , wife, son, grandson, and mother in law. Garage was open all day, and the front door was ajar. No one heard anything, knock or doorbell. Totally frustrated called again and all they said that he was there. I will call for service from another company, I want a full refund and will call the Better Business Bureau to complain about the level of service I received."

"The original quote was given as $211 to install the faucet I had purchased, which was a lot, but the RR man wouldn't install the faucet until the sink was repaired by another contractor. (There was no interference between the sink and the faucet.) The agreement was made to return two days later. The sink was repaired (reattached to the granite)but the installer wanted it to set before re-connecting the drains and garbage disposal. The Roto Rooter guy appeared the next day, installed the faucet and re-connected the drain and garbage disposal, presenting a bill for $411, for less than an hour of labor, with a charge of a few dollars for shut off valves, which was part of the $211 faucet installation. I am completely appalled that, for the expense of 45 minutes of labor, I am charged at a rate of $548 per hour. My wife paid the bill by credit card, as I was at work, could not protest this outrageous charge. When contacted by Roto Rooter to review the work, I complained and asked to be called, but have not recceved any calls from them. I strongly urge anyone who needs plumbing services to avoid this outrageous rip-off company."

When Sal comes to the property he is professional, courteous, hard working, and very timely. I cannot stress this enough. The two owners of this business, on the other had, have done nothing but disappoint us. So many empty promises, over-promising and under-delivering, 3 bounced checks, recently missed appointment for the last phase of our project, and 3 or more unanswered messages to confirm and then to ask why they didn't show and when to expect our money that has been promised since JANUARY! Josh is such a nice guy and I hate to write this review and update but a business person he is not. I wish him and his wife all the best but could never use them again."
