16 I had a problem with my Gas furnace, which they came and fixed last November,. Cost $800. Two months later, the furnace died again. They came out and said it needed a new circuit board, and that the furnace was very old and I should get a new one. Wish they had told me that back in November.

The extrol tank he installed on the hot water heater was twice as big as the one removed and it is sitting dangerously close to the exhaust stack. I will have to replace this when I get a chance! After the technician left, we noticed he had NOT given us the 10% off so we called D. Rohde. We were told it would be taken care of as soon as she reached someone in the invoicing group. We have called more than 4 times and keep getting the same "pass the buck" story and never received our 10% off! What a joke! I guess I will start using Home Advisor instead of Angie's list!!! In addition, after the technician left, we had no hot water. It turns out the pilot light was out. I was able to reset it but was away and my daughter who lives there had no hot water for several days until I returned to check it out."

He provided no receipts for items supposedly purchased so there is no proof of the purchase of 3 sumps he said he replaced and the floor he covered with waterproof paint was blistered and cracked everywhere. He never returned to follow up and finish as agreed. He was a now show after 3 attempts to reschedule - each time he agreed and and never materialized. There is now a judgement against him recorded with the county from small claims court. I had to bring someone else in to do what he should have done in the first place."
