"First I want to say.  I love my new patio.  Everyone who has seen loves it.  It came out better that I expected.  If you are like us we had, pictures, images and ideas of what we wanted our patio to look like.  He made all our wishes and desires come to life.  We  first contratced DMAC Design & Development for the job which turned out to be a nightmare.  DMAC stole our money and never completed the work.  You can imagine how distrusting and upset we were now looking for another contractor to fix and complete the work DMAC left us with.  We inteviewed few potiental contractors, but what won Mike he job was his understanding our we felt and knowing we were very nervous after our recent experience getting another contractor.  I was ready to give up completely and just forget about getting a patio done this year.  Estimates were high and we alreay we already down $9,000 and nothing to show for it.  However, Mike requested no money until the the job was complted in full.  How could we refuse an offer like that and it put to rest all our fears, concerns and worrires immediately.  Not to mention his knowlegdge and very professional manner.  Mike corrected the damage and garbage left by DMAC.  He brought all the materials and didnt receive any payment from us till nearly all the work was finished.  He was at home everyday on time once the work began and until it was done.  He completed a job that other contractors said would cost us twice as much and longer to complete in a week.  Mike dug the yard up and built a new foundation for the pavers, built a curved, retaining wall, steps in the center of it and in the sides. He even placed a pattern design pavers with a fire pit on one side of the patio and in addition a circular design kit was placed in the cneter of the patio.  We also didn't have enough to cover the additional requested we made of steps and firepit which was not in the original contract.  It was something when the patio was being done we decided we wanted done.  Mike did it for us and allowed us to pay him for the additions we requested after the XMAS.  He was honest, fair and responsible.  Is it really great to now there are still some honest contractors out there with execellent skilld.  Ff you are need of a Masonry look no further he the one you want.  My only dont is I should have first checked Angie List and hired Mike from the very beginning."
