Avoid. Hires unqualified workers. Misrepresents THTofNY as part of a larger organization with headquarters in Connecticut. Instead it?s headed by a local independent contractor who has hired unqualified professionals who have no in-depth industry knowledge. THTofNY is comprised of one person who may or may not have decades of experience remodeling basements, 3 people he has trained to sell a product (with very sparse bill/ receipt itemization to understand how monies were allocated) They don?t have a regular crew. Projects stopped due to workers quitting - three (3) separate times.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!! David and John are AWESOME!! They go ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure that you, the customer/ home owner are 100% SATISFIED!! Our home is an older home, from 1844, and the basement was NOT THE BEST!! It was, basically, a WET basement! It was ALWAYS DAMP... not very good, even for storage. We had flooding within the first 6 mos of buying the house. We shopped around, and they had the BEST DEAL for the work that was done! The basement is now waterproofed, with the TripleSafe Sump Pump system, backup battery, TrenchDrains, WaterGuard drainage system, IceGuard, CleanSpace Wall system, 3 inches of concrete were poured also!! That was the main work, plus all the cleanup and a new drainage line was installed! Our basement has been TRANSFORMED, and, so far, we haven't seen any of the "MANY" ISSUES that we were having! Working with David and his craftsmen is a pleasure. It was such a relief to have someone handle all the details and follow through with a superb job.

We had a terrific experience. We had a wet basement because of high ground water. We had had a flood when a sump pump failed. They designed high quality New sump pump installation; installed new walls, ceilings and floors; added a bathroom in the basement; installed ceiling lighting. On budget; on schedule. Its two years later: we are thrilled with it. First rate.

I hired David to frame the basement and do electrical work, David hired the work to a 3rd. party, had an inspection and it did not pass, they came out 3 times to try and fix, I hired a company to drywall and they refused to do the work because of the terrible work by David
