It turns out the original paving had no base so they excavated out the dirt and provided the proper base and compacted it. They also piped our gutter and leader system under the driveway and out to daylight. All the drainage details and transitions to existing surfaces was expertly installed. "What a great professional company. From the first call to them finishing the job they were amazing. Explained everything to me because this was my first time having blacktop. Also I had a problem with drainage. They told me how they would fix it and then showed me it was fixed by running water so I could see it. "The work turned out great. The joints are tight and lined up well. The corners were curved to add a nice touch so the pavers had to be cut along with cutting the smaller brick border bricks. I had about a 2 foot slope of land under the patio and a large slope for the path and step area. This work was done by 4 guys over two hot July days. The bobcat helped dig and rough level it. A lot of material was moved around along with at least 4 pallets of pavers and the blocks for the steps. To finish it off, they put down top soil, grass seed and hay was placed down to finish the job off very well."
