"Awful Experience!!! I would give them negative stars if I could! Transit Systems is a terrible company with horrible customer service, and they subcontracted with an even worse company called Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery. I paid $1,500 for 'white glove service' to have a dining room table, 3 table leaf extenders, six wooden dining chairs and an antique sewing table moved from Memphis to KC. The guy showed up and stacked the furniture on top of each other in the truck without any packing material (no blankets, not bubble wrap, no cardboard) just wood touching wood. My brother-in-law took pictures, and wouldn't sign the paperwork. The guy got mad, shut the truck door and drove off with my stuff. We called both companies and they said they could not do anything until the stuff arrived. It took 3 weeks for the truck to arrive and they sent an email saying it arrived at a warehouse in Nashville but would not tell me what condition it was in. It was delivered two months later in pieces. All the broken table legs and chair arms and broke table leaf dumped in a box with no padding and the box had all kinds of rips and wholes in it. All of my chairs were scratched up, there was a huge round water mark, where some idiot set a drink on my sewing table. And it is now 4 months later and I can't even get them to return my email or phone messages. I'm having to take legal action. They hire people who are inept of doing their job well and lack integrity. Businesses are run from the top down so that tells you a lot about the kind of people running both companies... ZERO INTEGRITY about doing the right thing for their customers & ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Don't use them. You will not get the service you pay for and have damaged furniture on top of that."

"I called Kyle on a Sun. afternoon. He said he would come over early on Mon. morning. He was here at 7:00. It took him an hour or two to troubleshoot the problems. He found and corrected problems inside with a valve and a gauge. He found that the outside casing had a hole in a pipe and was leaking. This was the source of the problem; it was causing the indoor problems, too. He said he would be back at noon with Mike and an excavator to correct the pipe issue. He came back as he said he would. It must have taken about three hours for them to excavate and repair the pipe, complicated by the excessive water at the site due the leak from the pipe and high water table. They were able to repair it so we had water again. Hurray! They backfilled and cleaned up the site as best they could given the wet and muddy conditions. They gave us very prompt, polite, and skilled service. My wife and I are very well pleased. We will use them again."

"I was bothered by the fact they do not optimize space on the truck, it is simply thrown in a heap, I can live with that but they were told twice where the cut off line was, I will say there was a lot of junk and it was a piled-up mess, I had good things in the back of the garage on pallets, they did fill the truck but also went to the back of the garage and took some of my belongings such as a cooler, patio umbrella, 42 inch grapevine wreath, wicker baskets, a picnic basket and a couple of boxes, when I asked why they went to the back and took things from there the guys answer was well we made more room for you, they had already been paid and they left, this was June 30th, I give all information to Customer Care who does not seem to care at all, I received an e-mail someone would call but to date no one has called. I am upset and angry, if you hire these people besure to stand there until they finish, pretty simple instructions, don't go beyond the blue blanket. I just want you to take what is in front of it. Now I have taken a loss, never again."
