"First I have to start with Mike. He is a great salesmen. He full knows his product and also he knows what competitors are offering. This goes from price and the quality of the product they are trying to sell. What he said to me made sense after I had already done research about the different types of fences. We had at least four price quotes prior to Mike coming out to the house. A well informed consumer is the best when dealing with contractors, doing any type of work on your home. After meeting with him we made the decision very quickly to go with his company. They have great follow up to let you know when you are going to be scheduled. They are on time and very clean after they are done. The price was in the ball park of others, and the Angies list coupon was a plus which they honored. I've already referred my neighbor and I will be going back to get front railing. Thanks for everything"

"I have used Precision Fence in the past, probably before you could write a review on Goolge. Mike, Tom, and the rest of the crew have always been top notch to work with. Fair pricing, Great product and attention to detail are just a few of the highlights. This time around the new fence we were having installed was on an area of my property that never had a fence before. To avoid problems with my Neighbor I hired a licensed surveyor to identify the property line. Well that went over like a lead balloon and my neighbor had fit. While the PF crew was onsite preparing to install the fence, my neighbor called the cops and claimed Adverse Possession. The PF crew notified Mike who immediately came to the job site to assist. He did not have to do that; he was very professional throughout the entire situation even trying to reason with my neighbor. Unfortunately, it was not resolved so I see civil court in my near future. If you are looking for a great fence contractor look no further Precision Fence gets an A++ with 110% satisfaction from me."

"The fence is not built yet but, so far, they seem very professional, responsive, answering all questions, and have presented a good plan and design."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

A chain-link fence does not lower your property value. However, chain links are not the most attractive materials—so it probably won’t raise the value either. If this is a concern, opt for wooden posts to provide visual flair and go with a color coating on your fence. Putting in a functional and attractive gate also helps up your resale value when installing a chain-link fence.

Rabbits are remarkable jumpers, capable of leaping to impressive heights. Generally, they can jump up to 2 to 3 feet vertically, thanks to their strong hind legs and muscular build. This exceptional jumping ability isn't just for fun—it helps them escape predators and reach vegetation otherwise out of their reach. Their agility and power make them one of the animal kingdom's most agile jumpers, adapting their natural talents to navigate their environment with finesse.

Your wooden gate post hole should be a third to a half of the height of the post. Also, note that the diameter of the post hole should be three times the diameter of the post. You should set the post in concrete to ensure a long-lasting and durable post that will withstand the test of time.

Lattice should not touch the ground, as it creates a possibility for rot and a termite infestation. It’s best to leave a gap of 3 or 4 inches at the bottom for airflow and to keep the wood dry. You can add stones, bricks, or other decorative pieces to conceal the bottom of the lattice if desired.

Most people prefer to keep the fence level by “stepping” the fence when running a horizontal fence over a slope. Stepping involves raising each panel between the posts as the fence moves over changes in slope, giving the fence line the appearance of stair steps. While this may be the preferred method of running a horizontal fence up a slope, there’s nothing wrong with installing your fence so it follows the undulations in the ground instead.
