"We needed to replace an old fence with a new PVC fence. After getting a few other estimates, we choose All Island Fence and Railings not only for the price but also because the sales associate, Bob, gave us a lot of confidence with information about the products and details about the work, and the warranties. Bob was informative and real professional. On the day of the job the installers were hard working, courteous, and careful. They double checked the property lines as needed. With all the windstorms we get I was particularly concern with the posts being well reinforced with concrete. I am confident this one is well done. The entire job was done perfectly, as was the removal of the old fence and the clean up. It was a great overall experience and I highly recommend All Island Fence and Railings."

"Thank you so much guys! We are so happy with our new fence and will recommend Dayra to our friends. This was a really big job in hot weather, and we were amazed how fast the project moved. All of the workers were very hard-working and VERY respectful to my home, my family AND my neighbors. They installed a perimeter fence, picket fence, gate, double-gate, and a privacy screen. The fence is perfectly straight and looks beautiful, and Dayra knew exactly how to handle the sloping grade of my property. The gates are very sturdy and function perfectly. This was a high quality installation with high quality materials. Melvin is an exceptional leader on the job, expert installer, and takes customer service to the next level. This company listens to the customer and does not take shortcuts. It was a great way to start our backyard renovation project and I feel so lucky Dayra was recommended to me. Thanks again!"

"My fence was pushed apart, somehow. Only three slats, but needed repair. I spoke with this company and they were willing to come right away. I was busy and told them I would call them when I got home. I called and they came within 10 minutes. They did an extremely nice job repairing my fence. Very nice people to work with. I would highly recommend and would use them in the future if I need it."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Yes, fence posts should be set in concrete to provide the proper support for the fence. If you notice your fence posts leaning, you’ll need to learn how to brace a fence post to fix the problem and prevent further damage from occurring. By bracing a fence post properly, you’ll provide stability and sturdiness to your fence for years to come.

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly fence material, corrugated metal could be the answer. Metal fences cost about $7 to $32 per foot. Aluminum corrugated metal tends to be less expensive than steel. Both options are similar in cost to wood, so, depending on the type of wood you are considering, corrugated metal could be better for your budget.

When it comes to aluminum fence post depth, the posts should typically be about one-third of the length of the fence post deep into the ground. However, it's always best to check with your fencing manufacturer's recommendations to ensure you install it at the recommended depth for stability.

Wire fences are generally the most inexpensive type of farm fence to install, especially compared to lumber. Barbed wire is one of the cheapest options due to its simple materials, making it a good choice for low budgets and for confining docile animals in large spaces. Other options include hog wire and woven wire fences, which are strong, long-lasting, and relatively easy to repair. While wire fences require less lumber and reduce overall project costs, they are often considered less aesthetically pleasing than traditional wood fences.

You can only change your neighbor's fence with their permission. A neighbor's fence is their property, and altering it without their consent could constitute trespassing or property damage, which may have legal consequences. If you have concerns or disagreements about your neighbor's fence, communicate with them openly and try to reach a mutually agreeable solution. If you believe the fence violates local zoning laws or property regulations, consult with local authorities or seek legal advice to address the issue through proper channels.
