We are an owner operated and managed site development company. We have been in business since 2014 and have over 20 years experience in the industry. Our crew of skilled professionals can handle any project, commercial or residential. We offer all phases of site development, masonry services, excavation packages, clearing, drainage, and lastly we are certified to install the newly adopted INNOVATIVE AND ALTERNATIVE ONSITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS that are now required within Suffolk county on any newly constructed dwelling or commercial property.

"we hired this company to redo our backyark space, there was excavating, installing exterior drain pipe, hardscape with pavers and masonry. The work was completed in a very professional and timely manner. When I expressed what I was envisioning for this project to the owner, he not only gave me his professional opinion but his personal opinion as well without pressuring us into a decision. He was very knowledgeable and transparent when we had questions about any part of the job. W are so incredibly happy with the outcome and it is even better than we had ever imagined!!! Please use this company if you want QUALITY work!!!!!!!"

At ERC Environmental we make dealing with your old oil tank easy - our tank removal, replacement and soil clean-up services come at a single flat rate. No surprise fees or hidden charges; we make the process stress-free from beginning to end. Our services include everything from digging out your old tank to locating your new one, even ensuring your outdoor space is returned to its former glory. Ancient, leaking oil tanks pose a problem for homeowners, often when they come to sell. You might be concerned about the cost of oil tank removal and replacement because many contractors won't give you the final fee until the project is complete. That's where ERC Environmental is different. We quote you up front for the job, so you know exactly how much you'll have to shell out. It won't cost a single cent more. Contrary to popular belief it takes a matter of hours to remove and replace an oil tank – not days or weeks – and you won't be without heat or water during the process. ERC Environmental is a state certified, licensed, reputable and professional oil tank removal and cleanup company. Talk to us about your tank today.

"I had a good experience with the oil tank removal. However, they weren’t clear about charges. I agreed to hire them because in shopping for estimates they were the middle man. However, look at the estimate carefully. If any permits need to be pulled they put “permit”-TBD and charge $150 to obtain the permit. So when I received there estimate I thought that was the complete estimate and there would be no other charges. This was not true. I paid half up front and the other half was due when the job was complete. When the job was complete I had an addition charge of $400 for obtaining the permit and the permit itself. When I explained my situation and asked that they give some type of credit with the $150 they threatened to sue me and put a lien on my house. Do I think it would go that far “NO”. Attorneys are very expensive. However, I will not be referring them to anyone because of the sneaky manner in which they charge and also the threatening manner in which they ended the job. It’s not worth the headache though. If $400 is going to make such a difference I will pay it. Stay away charged are not clear. When they found out how much the permit would cost I believe they should have informed me as well as informed me that it would cost $150 to obtain the permit."

Septic Tanks questions, answered by experts

A new water well pressure tank costs $300 to $500. If you choose to hire a plumber for the job, expect labor to cost $125 to $200. If the tank is difficult to access, labor will cost more. Diaphragm and bladder well pressure tanks have similar costs. One-compartment well pressure tanks are less costly, but they have a higher chance of waterlogging. Larger pressure tanks cost more and hold more water, but they don’t increase water pressure.

Oversized well pressure tanks are not always a bad thing, but it is still better to opt for a tank sized more appropriately for your well to save money and space. The advantage of an oversized well pressure tank is that it can reduce frequent pump cycling to conserve energy.

If you’re maintaining your septic system, your drain field should last around 20 years. However, it’s important to get it inspected every two to five years to help your system last as long as possible and make sure it’s in safe, working order. Contact a septic maintenance company in your area for a quote.

A gurgling toilet usually doesn’t mean that your septic tank is full. If waste can’t drain into a full septic tank, you’ll see water and sewage backing up into your fixtures, but the air that causes gurgling is a result of poor venting. You are more likely to have a clog in your vent stack or a damaged air admittance valve.

The smallest septic system you can buy is a 750-gallon tank, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you can legally use this tank size. Check with your local health department in case the minimum tank size in your area is 1,000 gallons.
