All clear!

We called up at one and they gave us an estimate which they lived up to. They were there by three and even called to say they'd be ten minutes late. They were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable.

Dave was extremely kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what he thought the problems were and in the end we were very satisfied with the job. We will be using them again.

I called and spoke to Dave around 3 pm.  He said he could be at the house in about an hour.  I had just had my cesspool pumped out for the 2nd time in 6 months.   That service was done by another cesspool company, that came to the house when I wasn't there and just did the pump out and gave me no verbal feedback, just big bills.  Dave came to the house when my son, who is a plumber was home.  He inspected the cesspool and flushed toilets.  Dave told me that he thought that it was the pipe from the main to the cesspool because the flow was lower than expected from the main through the pipe. .  He explained that my house must have been built in 1972, because it  precast cesspool rings and that had and the pipe that connected the main to the cesspool was made of a material called "Orangeburg" a material constructed of cardboard and tar paper.   He said he could snake that to find out or he could just replace the pipe.  If he snaked the pipe, there would be an additional charge.  I looked up "Orangeburg" and he was right on point.  The material was only supposed to last under the best conditions 50 years.  I made the judgment call to replace the pipe.  It turns out he was right on, from inspecting the pipe that was removed.  He was very professional and spoke with my son (because I wasn't there).  He also kept in communication with me on the phone.  He did the work despite the fact that I wasn't there and he was paid days later.  Dave said that we would have to wait and see 2-3 months if this was the problem, because we should know by then if there is something else wrong.  My son, who is the plumber thinks he nailed the problem, but we will have to wait and see.  I wish that I had called him in the first place, it would have saved me almost $1,700.00 in pump out  fees.

Overflowing cesspool problem was resolved very quickly and efficiently.
Dave and Mike are gentleman,and highly recommended.

I spoke with Mike Pepi on the phone, he sounds a little gruff but in person he is very proffesional and explains everything if you are willing to listen. He explained hydro jetting, as a method of removing the waterproof slime that coats the cesspool walls and prevents it from draining. Don't expect a pump truck to arrive at your house, the tools for hydro jetting fit in a truck more suitable for plumbers. My house has an iron cover on the septic tank so Mike removed the cover and cold see the drain was not visible and then he asked me to flush all the toilets while he listened to the plumbing vent on the side of the house, he could tell from the sound that the water was not clearing the drain pipe. He found the cover, which was about three feet deep and pulling off the cover it broke into pieces and from the black color in the cracks he could tell that it had been soaking in the water for some time, looking inside I could see the cesspool was almost at the top. Mike set up a pump with two hoses one extracted water from the pool and the other fit with a long pipe jetted high pressure water back into the cesspool. As he started jetting the walls of the tank the water began draining and dropped way down probably 8 to 10 feet (the pool is three rings deep). Mike then called his partner and he arrived with a new cover and extension collar to bring the cover up another 18 inches or so.
Hydro Jetting was new to me, but if it allows the cesspool to drain then it's fixing the problem rather than simply making space in a clogged system.  
If you don't hear from me again on this assume it's working fine.

They were very good. They were easy to get in touch with. They were very accommodating. They were able to come the next day for an appointment. They were very honest with me on the phone. They spent a long time on the job. The price was pretty good. I would use them in the future.

They were friendly and helpful. They explained the problem and went to work correcting it. Nice guys. No pressure (except to aerate the tank, ha, ha). Give them a try.

We called late in the morning and they were there by 4:30 in the afternoon so they came the same day. He gave us a few tips on things that we could do that were inexpensive. He said that we could put baking soda down the drain.

I THINK THAT CDM HAS GREAT PRICES AND THEY DO VERY GOOD WORK. THEY COME WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL BE THERE AND CALL AHEAD IF THEY CANNOT. YOU GET EVERYTHING WRITTEN OUT, SO THERE ARE NO MISTAKES.
