Efficiency is a word I live by. It is very rare to find nowadays. Hats off to the Connor Brothers!! I love to write but I am going to keep it short. First of all, to you Mike. Your phone and text communication was professional and respectful. Thank you for being precise and giving a fair price for the work needed in my home. Secondly and most importantly: Mike and Frank, don't ever let go of the two Professional Service men, THE CONNORS BROTHERS, which you sent to remove and install a new (YES NEW!!!) oil tank in my residence. I am a former instructor of the "hands on" trades. Therefore I enjoy watching when work such as this is being done especially in my home. On that note, I don't know The Connors by first name so I will go with Connor 9 year and 5 year. Connor 9: Your patience and experience with the installation was superior. At one point you were taking measurements of the tank. There really was no reason to but you did anyway to assure everything would go smooth. Secondly, rather than cross-threading a fitting you paid very close attention and maneuvered the tank a few times to assure smooth turning of the fitting to fit tightly. Throughout this work, I conversed with you asking several questions relating to the installation to which as you explained and answered me, you continued working; a perfect sign of multitasking! My tank was full. The oil had to be pumped out and as it was being done, you closely observed that none of the sludge would be used to re-enter to my new tank which would surely clog my feed line to my boiler and create extensive additional problems to the oil burner in so many undesirable ways. For this alone I am so grateful as I maintain my oil burner myself and understand such problems. During this critical time in this pandemic, you wore a face mask and gloves at ALL times, even when I told you that if you were not sick you don't need to wear it in my home (you stated, "I rather keep it on"). Thank you Conner 9! Conner 5: You are clearly passionate of your work. As your brother was tightening a fitting, you already had the next tool in your hand ready for him to use without him asking (Efficiency at its best) for it. You were preparing the new tank with fittings, the gauge reader, new valve, and the support legs. On each given moment, you assured to lubricate (pipe dope) each fitting for smooth installation. At one point as you were working you were going to rest your hand against the wall and although it was not a painted wall which could have been stained, you refrained immediately from doing so (purely professionalism). At another instance as you were preparing the new tank, you could hear the oil being pumped out and it would making a hissing sound at one of the connections. You immediately went to observe it to assure it was not going to leak or burst. I call this self discipline! You later on went to install the existing copper feed line to the NEW (YES NEW) tank. You took care of re-flanging the copper line and attached the new fitting properly to the tank. When the tank was filled, you then proceeded to my oil burner, turned it back on and bled the line to clear any air and checked boiler to assure it was running. Once again, throughout all of this I conversed with you as well and you continued working as you explained the process of what you were doing. Finally, as Conner 9 was putting the tools and equipment away, you wiped down the NEW tank with a cleaning liquid and inspected all fittings for leaks. Thank you for caring for my home. One final note to any PRIOR and future readers. During this entire procedure, NOT ONE DROP OF OIL SPILLED ON MY FLOOR in and/or outside of my property. The entire job was completed in a few hours! Thank you Timms Petroleum for recommending Century Utility!! Gentlemen (Mike and Frank), one day you will retire and need a replacement to continue Century Utility Systems. The Connors Brothers are clearly your future investments as leaders and would prove worthy in this business. DON'T LOSE THEM !! Thank you ALL for your professionalism and expert service! If there were a way I could bold this review in RED for all readers, I would! I doubt I will need you again for another 50 years (for another tank). God Bless!!
