Jeff from JTECH arrived at the house at the appointment time and called us to let him in so he could do the work. We asked Jeff to please go right in , find the toilet, vanity and shower drain parts and to please install as we were on our way. Everything was installed perfectly. Rent hikes costed me $700 monthly ($100 more each year) Told me to pay for my own pest control for the rodents and roaches at this property and won’t pay me back (totally breaks the law and doesn’t care) Using rent fixing as well. Run for the hills, hopefully these terrible deplorable peoples will shut their doors soon."

R-value stands for resistance value and is a number assigned to insulation that states how good the insulation is at heat transference (insulation). The R-value of injection foam is around 4 which homeowners will be happy to know is actually quite good. Another benefit of injection foam versus fiberglass foam is that the colder it gets, the more injection foam retains its resistance properties, whereas fiberglass tends to lose its efficiency in colder temperatures.

Interior walls don't require insulation. However, there are a couple of reasons you may consider adding it in some situations. Insulation in interior walls is excellent for sound-dampening between rooms and can help maintain a regulated temperature in insulated rooms by lowering the heat transfer between adjacent areas of the home.

Spray foam insulation can last up to 80 to 100 years, making your investment worthwhile over the long run. Closed-cell spray foam tends to have the highest durability. Open-cell foam is subject to moisture, which can lead to deterioration. Remember that some spray foams will damage plastic piping, so consult a pro if you have PVC or CPVC pipes.

You don’t need to remove old insulation before adding new insulation. As long as the old insulation is still in good shape—not wet, physically damaged, or moldy—then you can stack new insulation on top of old insulation to get a compounding effect. You can also mix different types of insulation, like adding blown-in insulation around existing fiberglass batt insulation or installing rigid insulation boards over rafters in your attic that already have batt insulation installed. If your existing insulation is very old or damaged, though, you’ll likely see more benefit from removing it and replacing it instead.

Bubble wrap is better for moving since it can be cut to size, whereas dish foam comes in precut sheets that are harder to manipulate. However, if you’re packing items like dishes, wine glasses, picture frames, or mirrors, dish foam will protect them better. Ensure you measure your box beforehand so you know what size dish foam to purchase.
