"I was once told by a master stair builder that if you want to evaluate a general contractors work, look in the dumpster at the job site for an excessive amount of used caulk tubes indicating that they are covering up mistakes. Recently we completed a very challenging project that required the excavation under our old seasonal home in conjunction with a significant 2-story addition. Dave presented a clear concise estimate of the scope for the work proposed, the costs we should expect and a timeframe for completion; all proved to be very accurate.
