She suggested that starting with a deep clean would make regular maintenance easier down the line. I appreciated her enthusiasm for cleaning and her professional demeanor, which made my decision to hire her feel great. Our house is a small cottage, about 1200 square feet. During our conversation, I outlined specific tasks I was hoping for during the deep clean, including cleaning all the blinds, doors, cobwebs, and areas under the beds. I also offered to assist her with the items stored under the beds to facilitate her work. Throughout the cleaning process, I gave her space to do her job and didn't micromanage. After she had completed the deep cleaning, I noticed several areas that appeared to have been overlooked. Only one of the eight blinds was cleaned, one bed was attended to while the other was missed, and cobwebs remained throughout the house. Although the kitchen was mostly cleaned well, one section was missed; other areas received only basic attention.
