Our main workman Carlos was meticulous, a true craftsman, worked long and hard. The subcontractors--plumbers, electricians--were excellent, congenial, and always came when promised. Best of all, our cedar walls were sanded and polyurethaned and look bright and new again! We couldn't have been happier with Westbrook and will definitely use Dave and his team again."

"It hard to overstate how wonderful an experience my family had with Hire Her Home Improvement. Angela and her team were consummate professionals from our first contact to when the job wrapped. Angela (the owner) was impressively responsive, collaborative and spoke frankly about what work was feasible, what would be challenging and what things would cost. Her friendly, frank and collaborative nature made me trust her immediately. We had planned to start the attic renovation in mid March but a slot opened up in her schedule and we wound up starting six weeks early. The first thing that caught my attention was how prompt they were. If the start time was 8am, they would be outside at 7:55. As a professional project manager, that really made me happy. Angela’s crew (Jason and Steve) and the subcontractors were all expert craftsmen and worked efficiently, collaboratively and took wonder care to protect the rest of my home. One instance I want to call out was how one day I was delayed in coming home from running an errand. While I was out, the work wrapped for the day but Jason didn’t have a key lock the house. So Jason had the rest of the crew go home and he waited on my porch until I got home. I was just blown away. Last but not least, I want to talk about the work. They took a completely unfinished uninsulated 350 sq foot space in my attic and turned it in to a fantastic office space that’s quickly become my favorite room in the house. Everything was beautifully finished and every detail was considered. On her final walk through, Angela ever saw a few small things that she wanted to push further and had the crew come back and make a few tweaks. "I'm that person who has a general distrust of contractors due to a few truly terrible experiences. I blame myself for these bad experiences because I didn't vet the people I hired throughly enough. With the retaining wall bordering my driveway was collapsing and the driveway beginning to split, I knew this wasn't a project I could brush off, so I began an intense search for contractors. Using Angie, I found two contractors I liked for the job, but hired Hector Santucci because he presented a better plan for the restoration of that portion of the driveway that was going to be damaged while removing the old wall. Santucci Brothers has shown me there are good, professional, honest contractors out there, if you just take the time to find them. Hector Santucci and his crew were professional, polite and excellent at their jobs. These are some true craftsmen. Not only is my new wall massive, strong, built to last, but it's quite beautiful. In particular, while the mortar joints on the old wall, which was built by hacks, were three, sometimes as much as four inches wide, Hector's crew tightened everything up, fitting the stones together beautifully, even recessing the mortar on the face. When they were done, they cleaned everything up, power washed the driveway, and even planted new grass. Santucci Brothers stayed on estimate, stayed on schedule, and lived up to everything they had promised me. Communicating with them was easy and efficient."
