After clearing the shower drain, Nick (the owner) did an assessment of the drains system to identify situations that may need to be addressed at some future time. No sales pitch - just information. When finished, Nick and Dallas cleaned up the unavoidable mess that working on drains creates. Because decomposed granite is a durable material, a crushed rock or gravel base is optional as long as the DG is properly installed and compacted.
