"A?Team Electricians were fantastic from start to finish. They clearly knew what they were doing and completed our panel upgrade efficiently and cleanly over the course of a few days. Communication was prompt, the team was respectful, and they left the space spotless. Everything passed inspection with no issues. "The problem turned out to be a burned out small electric door switch. I believe the price was way too expensive for the service performed and the price of the door switch. What more can I say? It got done."

I’ve been in the electrical trade since 2017 and I journeyed out in 2021. I do a lot of commercial/residential work, traffic signals and sports lighting. I don’t mind traveling to work.i can trouble shoot, install lights, breakers, ceiling fans, ev chargers, panel upgrades, and pretty much any thing electrical I can do. im dependable, hard working, pay close attention to detail and making sure the customer is always happy. I’m looking for extra work because I enjoy this trade and want to give people a product they want with out spending a arm and a leg.

Hi my name is Don. I’m 43 years old.\nI have been in the trades for 23 years.\nWhen I was 19, I worked for a contractor who remodel custom luxury homes.\nI spent five years with them and then took what I’ve learned and started a small any man business in California. \nShortly after that economy started to slow down, so I focused on one trade.\nNow that things are looking better I’d like to get back to what I did before.\nI have experience in everything from concrete to roofing, and everything in between.

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can plug an extension cord or an outlet extender into a GFCI outlet. The GFCI outlet will still be able to protect your system in the same way.

The major difference between a GFCI breaker and an AFCI breaker is that a GFCI breaker protects against fatal shocks while an AFCI breaker prevent electrical fires. A GFCI breaker senses when the electrical current to ground is overloaded and trips to prevent major accidents or injuries. AFCI breakers trip when it detects dangerous electrical arcing.

To check if doorbell wires are live, use a non-contact voltage tester. Hold the tester near the wires; if it lights up or beeps, the wires are live. Always ensure the power is off at the breaker box before handling any wiring. If you don't have a voltage tester, consider getting one or consulting a professional to ensure safety.

Yes, an electrical fire can start even if nothing is plugged into an outlet. While a correctly functioning outlet poses no risk, a fire can be caused by faulty wiring, damaged outlet components, an overloaded circuit, or other electrical problems hidden behind the walls. If you suspect a fault, immediately turn off the circuit breaker and contact a professional electrician to diagnose and repair the issue.

A Tesla Powerwall comes with a standard 10-year warranty that guarantees the unit will provide at least 80% power during this period. After this time, a Powerwall may continue to operate, even if at a reduced capacity for another 10 to 15 years. Other factors can affect the long-term performance and durability of your Powerwall, such as energy consumption and how often you charge the battery.
