"The process of ordering, measuring at home, at sending off to the company went well. It was easy because the table was round. For other tables the customer might need to make a template (paper was provided for this if needed). The order was returned in less time than expected. I paid half price for the product, according to the Angies List deal ad, and actually feel that was a fair price. If I had paid full price I would have felt that I had overpaid. The product is very nice and well constructed but is of a medium weight (My previous 50+ year old pad was much heavier duty.) Magnets along the seams keep the table pad together. Overall this was a good deal for a hard to find product and I would happily use them again."

"They are a nice provider. I talked to them on the phone for about 30 minutes and they sent some samples. We were able to get a discount on designer purchases but not useful on designing the space. Once we told them what we wanted, they were able to help purchase from the warehouse and save about $1,500. I think they became too busy with this big deal. You buy a ticket per room and we still actually have a couple left with this provider. After redesigning one room, we kind of ran out of steam and have not designed the other rooms. Overall this is a good service and it's a good concept. Whomever I spoke with, she was really nice. I would recommend this provider. This kind of service seems to be for people with time and knows exactly what they want. They are super helpful with the designer discount from the warehouse. They don't actual design your room which is slight flaw."

Upholstering questions, answered by experts

After finishing an upholstery project in Santa Fe, install UV-blocking window treatments and use a humidifier during dry months to protect fabrics. Apply stain protectors as recommended, vacuum upholstery monthly, and condition leather quarterly. Rotate furniture to reduce sun exposure, and schedule professional upholstery cleaning twice a year. Adjust your care routine seasonally to address dust, dryness, and temperature changes unique to the region.

Helpful?

For upholstering projects in Santa Fe, keep upholstery-specific tools like a vacuum with attachments, microfiber cloths, and a handheld steamer for routine cleaning. Stock UV-resistant fabric protector spray, pH-neutral upholstery cleaners, and leather conditioner to combat dry air. Lint rollers are essential for pet hair, and a soft brush helps remove dust from intricate details, ensuring optimal furniture protection and long-lasting upholstery care in the local climate.

Helpful?

In Santa Fe, the high-desert climate means intense sunlight and low humidity, so choose fade-resistant, tightly woven fabrics for upholstery projects. Consider Southwestern design influences and the compact size of adobe-style rooms when selecting patterns and furniture scale. Plan ahead for peak tourist seasons, as local upholsterers may have longer lead times and specialty upholstery materials might require advance ordering.

Helpful?

In Santa Fe, visible fabric fading, cracked leather, or sagging upholstery typically means it’s time for reupholstering. However, if you notice squeaks, wobbly frames, or uneven seating, the issue likely involves the furniture’s structure rather than the upholstery. Address any signs of pest damage or broken springs first, and request an in-home evaluation from a local upholstery care expert for a tailored solution.

Helpful?

In Santa Fe, prioritize upholstery projects if you notice rapid fabric deterioration, allergen buildup, or structural issues that impact safety or comfort. Schedule work before the monsoon season to prevent moisture-related problems. Minor cosmetic fading or wear can usually wait if the furniture remains functional. For optimal results, plan upholstery care projects in late fall through early spring when local professionals have greater availability.
