"G came out within one hour of my submitting the request for a quote to Angie's List! He did an amazing job with my overgrown yard and went above and beyond to make it look nice. He worked fast and the price was excellent. Would definitely hire him for more yard projects!"

Customers say: Terrific value

"Matt and his crew were excellent! Always arrived promptly, worked so hard I was a little worried (it was 100+ out!) and cleaned up after themselves beautifully -- that was just the FIRST project for MY place, then my daughter hired them to reconfigure existing fencing to enlarge her back yard, put in irrigation, weed barrier and pea gravel. The extra little touches added by this great crew (shout out to Sparky, Jacob, Kaden and "Psychedelic Tom Selleck LOL), like shoring up her pumpkin patch with found bricks etc. to retain water, were just wonderful. This team is the best and I have SO many more projects for them! Oh, did I mention how reasonable the pricing was? Well there, I did. Beat all other quotes hands-down."

Small jobs welcome

"Excellent experience. I needed my driveway graded and re-graveled and they knocked it out of the park. Already planning to hire them again for some concrete work. Looking forward to working with them again."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Dead trees are dangerous for several reasons. They are structurally compromised and prone to branch or trunk failure, which can pose a significant safety risk to people, vehicles, and nearby structures. Dead trees can also harbor pests like termites, which may spread to other trees or your home. If a tree died from a disease, it could spread the illness to healthy trees. Additionally, the dry wood is highly flammable, increasing fire risk.

You cannot put anything you want into a rented dumpster, as there are significant restrictions on certain items.

Generally allowed items include:

  • Household Junk: Furniture, old linens, carpets, toys, small appliances, and excess trash.

  • Construction & Yard Debris: Wood, yard debris, roofing materials, old finishes, and other construction waste.

Commonly prohibited items include:

  • Hazardous Materials: Toxic waste, medical waste, dangerous chemicals, items with lead paint, and asbestos.

  • Flammables: Gasoline, oil, and fuel.

  • Specific Banned Items: Paint cans, electronics, batteries, tires, refrigerators, and hot water tanks.

Because rules can vary, you should always check with your specific dumpster rental company for their guidelines if you are unsure about an item.

We always recommend wearing a protective mask when blowing leaves (as well as goggles if possible). Blowing leaves creates a lot of dust, and in many cases that dust contains a bunch of allergens that can make those sensitive very miserable. Even worse, moldy leaves can contain fungi and bacteria that could make humans as animals very sick. Mask up before starting your leaf project, and if anyone is helping you collect the leaves it’s a good idea if they wear a mask, too.

Seal bags firmly for materials like soil or mulch, store unused parts in dry and cool spaces to prevent decay and use material visually formed covers for extended periods.

Yes, rotting leaves can be good for your soil. The decaying leaves release nutrients into the soil that can boost the health of your plants, and the organic matter also helps improve airflow and water drainage.
