"Install process went smooth. Anytime I called they were always very helpful. Only real downside was that the glass break sensors didn't adhere to the wall well. Support recommended screwing them to the wall and that fixed it."

"Reule Sun did a FABULOUS job on our house, with incredible attention to detail, extremely thorough preparation, total job-site neatness and cleanliness, lightning responsiveness to any issues which arose, and a very high level of craft. The workers were polite, respectful, friendly, and very conscientious. You will pay for this. But we found it more than worth the difference. After watching our job, the neighbor across the street has hired them for a complete stucco job and also new windows. (If your windows are within shouting distance of needing replacement, do these just ahead of the stucco job.)"

"As a designer in this industry I have visited hundreds of projects and the quality and craftsmanship of Jonas?s work is by far the best I have seen. Our project was especially difficult due to the fact that our existing slab was not level and a portion of our slab had to be demolished and repaired. Luckily for us Jonas had a lot of experience working with concrete and he beautifully repaired and leveled out everything before laying tile. The area to be tiled consisted of several connected spaces (Hallways, Foyer, Utility room, Narrow Kitchen, Dining space and the sides of a recessed Living Space) and needed to look continuous. Jonas took the time to carefully measure and calculate how to lay the tiles and he did an amazing job. We used Large format tiles (12? x 24?) and somehow he was able to do the job using almost all full tiles and based on our layout this was incredibly
difficult to achieve. As part of our modernist aesthetic, we wanted our joints to be tight (1/8?) and he was able to do this while maintaining clean lines throughout.
If you care about quality, craftsmanship, and Punctuality look no further than Jonas Jensen! We will definitely be hiring Jonas for all of our future tile work.

Glass and Mirrors questions, answered by experts

Using caulk is one of the simplest and most recommended methods to finish glass tile edges. It creates an elegant seam between the glass tile and the adjacent area, along with a waterproof seal. With this method, you want to use a caulk color that matches the grout and, along with the grout, compliments the tile. Make sure the caulk line is smooth and even. Alternatively, you can use a bullnose or tile trimming to edge, however, that will also require caulk to seal.

Generally, large bathroom mirrors that have been secured to the wall with glue require a multistep removal process. By taping the mirror with masking tape or duct tape, you can potentially prevent dangerous shards from falling as you loosen the mirror. A heat gun or other heat source may be needed to loosen up the glue before it can be freed using a wire saw. With glued-down mirrors being the most dangerous to remove, it's wise to hire a professional instead of handling glass on your own.

Recycled glass is a durable and sustainable countertop material that lends a unique look to any kitchen or bathroom. Whether or not it’s the right choice for your home hinges on your design preferences and budget. However, for many, it’s an excellent option to make your kitchen stand out if you don’t want to go with an option like quartz or quartzite.

Heavy glass tends to be more expensive than thin glass because it is stronger and more durable. In most cases, ¼-inch-thick glass is ideal for mirrors, and ⅛-inch-thick glass is ideal for residential windows. Heavier glass isn’t always necessary, and can be more challenging to hang or install. Work with a local window installation pro for replacement or new construction windows.

The cost of adding glass to your kitchen cabinet doors depends on the number of cabinets, type of glass, and labor costs. Glass typically costs between $5 to $20 per sheet and you can expect to purchase complementary hardware materials for $2 to $50 each. If you’re hiring a cabinet professional to install glass in your cabinet doors, ask them for a specific estimate before hiring.
