Christine Reisch Interiors

We hired Christine Reisch Interiors to uholster six dining chairs and two antique chairs. She did an excellent job. She needed to repair the chairs including new webbing and upholstery foam. She matched the pattern of the fabric perfectly to fit the parts of the chairs. We highly recommend Christine.

Christine helped me redo the flooring in my recently purchased home. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable in helping me find and decide on the best vinyl plank and carpet flooring for my needs. Her recommendation for installer did an amazing job at a great price, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Christine worked with me to find the best type of sliding glass door and window coverings for my family room/kitchen area. She came to my house and we talked through the options. The space was challenging because the 3 windows formed a bay window and that left little rooms on either side of the windows. I wanted something that had insulative properties and that could get gotten out of the way to bring in the most light to the room. I went with her recommendation of cellular blinds that would not take up a lot of wall space. I was extremely pleased with the results!! It has been at least 6 months and I am still very pleased. I'd love to get her to do another project I have in mind as I have complete confidence it will be done right and at a reasonable price. It doesn't get any better than that!! Thank you Christine!!

PERFECT. The upholsterer did an excellent job and the used leather is a beautiful rich red/brown color. The price was very reasonable.

At no cost to us, and without a complaint from us, Christine decided there was a better way to configure curtains and rods so that they would open more widely. She shortened one curtain panel and lengthen the other. She then installed new rods and rehung the curtains. The result was prefect.

I needed a solution for three windows high up in a high ceiling living room. Facing the hot west sun, these shadeless windows were heating up the whole downstairs! Christine investigated numerous types of solutions, narrowed down the choices, then went to bat with manufacturers' reps to bring about the best solution for the best deal possible. She's not afraid to roll up her sleeves and join in the work. Plus after years in the business, she knows the "right" people to call and the latest news in the design industry.

Christine was friendly, responsive, readily available, and fun to work with. I initially approached Christine about color for the kitchen, bath, and hallway. She emailed, called, and made many trips to my house, bringing over numerous samples of 18 in. pieces of wood, painted with different color choices so you could actually see what the paint would look like. She coordinated with the painter to come up with just the right colors in the hall and get the right texture for the bathroom walls, which added elegance. She brought over whole sample color wheels on a chain from the paint brand we decided on, which eliminated my previous trips back and forth to the paint store. Further, she gave me ideas about living/dining room cornices. With color/wall textures/cornices/etc., she emailed me lots of pictures of what each choice looked like in an actual setting. I later called her about what a certain color would look like in the living room, giving her the name, which she immediately knew and agreed with. This was my initial foray in the world of interior decor, and I was very pleased.

Christine was an excellent choice for interior design and decorating. She was prompt, attentive and professional. She very very easy to work with and had the expertise I was looking for in making good choices. I would highly recommend her will continue to use her services as the project continues to evolve.

Christine did an excellent job with curtain panels for our windows. I had selected the fabric, and she did a very nice job providing lining and sewing the curtain panels. I will definitely be using her again for custom pillows and bedding.

I found Christine on Angie's LIst and was encouraged by the positive reviews. They are all true! She was polite and responsive when I called and it was easy to schedule a time for her to come to my house in Santa Fe. Many Albuquerque service providers cannot be bothered to make the 40 mile trip. We talked about what I wanted to get done and the feeling I am trying to capture in the focus rooms. Christine was positive, supportive and non-judgemental. In one room, she suggested a minor change with lamp shades, and was concerned that her input not be offensive. As soon as she made her suggestion, it was so obvious that I should have seen it before! She accompanied me on shopping trips to find the major pieces in the living room re-do, and explained the advantages and disadvantages of every piece we looked at. In addition to pulling together the room that I envisioned, working with Christine has been a real education in color and design. She was also able to call on her professional contacts to provide resources that I would never have had access to if I had been undertaking this on my own. When Christine showed me pictures of other pieces and rooms she had worked on, I was concerned that they were not like the casual/cottage/light and airy design that I was after. No problem there! she takes the time to listen to her clients and can guide you through any look you can imagine. In addition to design, Christine has adjusted my upholstered sofa, re-upholstered a wing chair, and re-finished a coffee table and chest. She is also going to line my sea grass blinds so that I can keep them but have them provide more privacy. She truly has many talents. Will continue working with her as we make our way through the house room by room.

Christine was awesome to work with. We needed help organizing and hanging over 50 framed pieces of art. She has a great "eye" in which she was able to place every piece perfectly and optimize all of our wall space. I highly recommend Christine for any interior project.

Christine was great to work with. She provided lots of fabric samples, as well as great advice based on her many years of experience. The reupholstered furniture looks great. She also helped with paint and carpet selections, and provided us with good references for people to work with for carpet installation. It is obvious she loves her work!

I bought a packaged deal from her, and she came to my house to give some advice on color scheme and paint options. She did a good job, but it was a bit pricey for the short time she was there. I think it would be better if you have more concrete things for her to do. She did provide some good ideas on color coordination.

She listened to our goals/concerns/budget restraints and offered us options and ideas that were appropriate and creative. After our initial meeting, she followed up w/a phone call the next day to relay some additional thoughts and advice -- definitely going above and beyond for clients!
