"Felt very secure with Anthony, first with the time he took with measuring and again with installation. We had other companies come out to get multiple bids, however Anthony did such a great job, took his time and presented options so well, there was no question we would use them. He is outstanding, his customer service stellar and we would use them again and request Anthony. He is truly an asset to the company AND the window coverings are great!!!!"

"Reule Sun did a FABULOUS job on our house, with incredible attention to detail, extremely thorough preparation, total job-site neatness and cleanliness, lightning responsiveness to any issues which arose, and a very high level of craft. The workers were polite, respectful, friendly, and very conscientious. You will pay for this. But we found it more than worth the difference. After watching our job, the neighbor across the street has hired them for a complete stucco job and also new windows. (If your windows are within shouting distance of needing replacement, do these just ahead of the stucco job.)"

"They were efficient in terms of the process. They sent the pad in a reasonable time frame. I did have to call a couple times. It took about a month to deliver. They sent the material which was packed nicely. There were 2 issues: 1-the glue or adhesive they used smelled badly. I had to put in my garage for a couple weeks until that 2-every corner was protruded, the table pad corners were too sharp on the mat .which poses risks with small children. I called about that and they said to put some tape over it. The manager called back to discuss the issue was. She suggested that I try to fix. it. The company might have done something to repair if I had followed up."

"It was great. He came over with his little tiny pug named Lilly. It was a Saturday. He assessed the job, and asked if he could take the drawers home to fix them at his home. He is personable, capable, and he responded immediately to my message through Angie's List. After that we texted, came up with a time that day. He returned the drawers, repaired, and reinforced perfectly, to hold all of my heavy pots and pans. I would definitely hire him and Lilly again. Anybody who's has their sidekick in the title of their business, gets my attention. It was a win win! thanks Mike and Lilly!"

".After some communication issues we arranged to fix the roof of my shed. The necessary materials required a pick up truck to pick them up. After sending some pictures of the roof, we agreed to have the handyman buy and bring the supplies to my home for an extra fee. They came on time and fixed the roof.

"I did not go with this company, they refunded my money because I didn't like their design.   I've reviewed this before.  Please can you stop these requests to do a review.

Window Shutter Repair questions, answered by experts

The average shutter is designed to last 20 to 25 years. Proper maintenance for the type of shutters you have is essential for helping them reach their full potential.

Wood is the most classic shutter material. Common options include pine, cedar, or brasswood. MDF shutters are also a more affordable option that retains the timeless, classic look. Composite shutters, mainly vinyl and aluminum shutters, have also become more popular over the years. You may also find steel shutters, sometimes referred to as security shutters, used on the exterior. Shutters also come in various colors and finishes, adding another layer of design flexibility.

Not all windows are suitable for shutters, as certain styles can prevent them from functioning correctly. It's best to avoid installing shutters on bay windows, picture windows, dormer windows, and double-mulled windows. Shutters are better suited for large, full-size standard windows or French doors.

Additionally, consider the room's lighting needs. Since shutters effectively block light, they are an excellent choice for rooms where you want more darkness and privacy, such as a master bedroom or a main living room. For window types that are not ideal for functional shutters, some homeowners choose to install fixed (non-functional) shutters to maintain a consistent look across the home.

Shutters are still very common in Southern, farmhouse, and traditional-style homes, especially those in warm climates who can benefit from the increased efficiency. While modern homes and designs tend to shy away from shutters, shutters are a timeless design style that will likely be around for decades to come.

Plantation shutters cost an average of $2,990, making them one of the pricier shutter options. However, they offer a 75% return on your investment and are great options for boosting curb appeal and property value. Most people go for plantation shutters for their timeless, vintage look. They also provide the strongest light blocking and temperature control for your home.
