"There was some minor conflict over the scheduling of the appointment. The contractor was not pleased with the fact that I had some limitations in my schedule. When he called to make an appointment, he wanted to tell me when he would come without asking first whether I would be available on the date he had chosen. I was going to be out of town, so I told him that time wouldn't work. He said he'd already made up his schedule and he'd have to move everything around. That didn't seem like a problem to me, since I felt he should have asked me when I would be available before making his schedule. After that, the two men who came to do the work showed up when we agreed they should and did the work in a timely fashion. I was not entirely satisfied with the fact that I paid for eight hours of work and got only six to seven hours of work total. However, they did complete the repairs that we agreed they would do to my satisfaction. I said I wouldn't use this company again, but that's only because "Not Sure" wasn't an option. I was pleased with the work they did, but I would be more careful about the specifics of scheduling and the amount of time I paid for before beginning. I would also get more estimates of work from more companies, but I don't intend that to be a reflection on Power Construction. In fact, for future work, I would probably choose to get an estimate from them, too. "
