"Called before heading over, did an excellent job installing our drawer pulls in our kitchen, cleaned up after themselves and charged a fair price for the work. Will be using them again for other projects."

"I had a repair and paint job that needed attention, but three years later it was still unfinished because no one wanted such a small project. Then I found Mr. Handyman online, and it was an excellent find! Scheduling was easy, and the person who helped me was friendly and kind. Best of all, I got an appointment the very next day. The technician arrived on time in a professional uniform and branded truck. He quickly identified how to fix problems left by another company. Within 15 minutes, I had a detailed estimate, and he had gathered supplies and was ready to work. He protected the area, checked in throughout the job, finished on time, and cleaned up thoroughly. The repair looks brand new! I highly recommend Mr. Handyman. Knowing their workers are insured and bonded provides real peace of mind. I’m grateful Albuquerque has a service like this, and they’ll be my first call for future projects."

"RJ Handyman is the best! Rafael exceeded all expectations regarding his work. He is thorough, diligent and honest. He repaired a variety of issues in the fixer upper mobile home that I recently purchased. He did these repairs in a timely fashion, for a fair price and did top notch work. He keeps a positive attitude and is so versatile in his skills. I would hire him again in a second!"

"James has been an amazing help in repairing a leaking pipe in my foundation. What could have been a catastrophic situation was quickly assessed and resolved in a professional manner. He has been responsive and thorough in his assessment and repair, and patient in answering any questions I had. I received his name from another friend that referred him, and I am so thankful to find someone honest and knowledgeable about what needed to be done efficiently and at a fair price. Very highly recommended!"

Mailbox Repair questions, answered by experts

The weight capacity depends on the construction method and the quality of the hardware.  Basic side-mount slides often support 50 pounds, but less expensive versions may be rated lower. Properly built drawers with dado joints and heavy-duty, full-extension slides can typically support between 75 and 100 lbs. Be sure to check the manufacturer’s weight rating for your specific drawer slides.

Most bed assemblies take 1-3 hours, depending on design and complexity.

To prepare furniture for moving, detach furniture legs if possible. If the legs must stay on, wrap them with foam wrap or taped blankets to help prevent damage. You can also buy dedicated moving “socks” for furniture legs.

Regular cleaning, avoiding moisture exposure, and using appropriate protective products.

It’s possible to make minor repairs yourself on leather furniture, including using patch kits and leather repair kits. For minor leather scratches that haven’t breached the surface, repair kits can work wonders. However, we strongly recommend leaving any extensive leather repair to professionals, including deep scratches, tears, peeling, and reupholstering. These repairs demand experience to get the final product to look professional, and inexperienced DIYers may cause additional damage to the furniture that demands further repairs.
