"I originally reviewed Dawson Mechanical Contracting two years ago when this furnace was originally converted to gas. (Superbly.) I called them again this morning because the overflow tank was leaking water--today is a Saturday after a snowstorm--and Dave and his crew came out a few hours later and repaired the entire thing. (A serious and complicated job.) I'm grateful for the speed and professionalism Dawson Mechanical Contracting showed. My heat is working again, and the price was fair. I recommend these guys without reservation. Two thumbs up."

"Came to my home to look at the installation of a sub panel in a new non attached building on my property. Got back to me the next day as he said he would. His price was fair. I contacted him back and said I would like to proceed with him. Gave me a date, which was a few days later. He contacted me that day and was there right on time. Did what he had to do and was done. Don't like to spend money, but I wish I had more for him to do. Will definitely recommend him without a doubt to anyone who asks me about an electrician. Thanks Again!"

"I've hired Misael several times and I'm very pleased with the outcome as well as Misael's professionalism throughout every project. Estimates are fully documented in line-item form and accurate. Very neat and does his best to minimize impact to daily living. Most recently, we had a basement completely refinished. The job was completed quickly, on budget, and with good quality workmanship. He also had great recommendations for design/materials. Previously, he completed a full bathroom remodel. That was a challenging project for a number of reasons - but Misael persevered through the problems and the resulting bathroom is terrific. I can't recommend CFI enough."

"Our old 5” gutters & 2”x3” downspouts had to be replaced so we decided to replace them with new 6” gutters & 3”x4” downspouts. In addition, we had to replace an older leaking skylight. So, I reviewed contractors and ultimately decided to hire AJT Complete Construction in Lodi. Taner (initial contact & owner) explained what had to be done, when they could do the job and how long it would take. The price was reasonable, yet competitive. His crews were excellent. They arrived on time; started work immediately, worked diligently, answered any questions and cleaned the work area before leaving. And the finished gutters, downspouts and skylight look great. IMO - if you have to replace gutters and/or a skylight please ask AJT to look at your project."

One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
