This was the 4th or 5th project that we have done with Monk’s and as always we were very pleased with the outcome. Our Project Manger Ward, was very professional and attentive, making sure every last detail was addressed. The painting team, led by Gustavo, was extremely professional and courteous. Their attention to detail was impressive - All in all, we were quite pleased with the project and will not hesitate to hire Monk’s again.

We had a great experience working with Monk's! we wanted to build an accessible deck that would allow my wife - who uses a wheelchair - to have better access to our backyard. Not only did they help us design and construct a beautiful deck, but they also helped us obtain the permits required.

The kitchen renovation went exceptionally well. Completion was on time and on budget. All problems and issues were addressed and corrected in a timely and satisfactory manner. A great team of individuals. Our project manager was Marien Navarro. She came daily to oversee the progress and address any problems that arose. She did a truly exceptional job in delivering an excellent result!

Jaclyn Lorber is the designer at Monks Showroom, who created the overall design for our kitchen renovation. She was excellent throughout the process of designing the whole remodel and making suggestions for the selection of appropriate materials and appliances. This is our first kitchen renovation. We had multiple questions and changed our minds about what we wanted multiple times! Jaclyn was always patient with us, very generous with her time and accommodating. The final design is gorgeous! We are eager to see the finished product that will be delivered by Monks Home Improvement.

Monk's and Jon Clauson were wonderful to work with. They were kind, respectful, helpful, and professional. They accommodated my teaching schedule and were able to schedule the work so I did not need to take time off. The windows and storm doors look super. I have been telling family and friends how happy I am with the job they did.

I have used Monk's Home Improvements on a few occasions. Their team recently made improvements around my windows and painted the outside of my house. Robert Farley of Monk’s Home Improvements worked with my wife and me to develop scope of work to replace a french exterior door and five widows. The experience was comfortable and efficient. After listening to our conceptual scope, Robert produced design specs and drawings that matched our material needs and budget within an hour. This experience was considerably superior to those of other vendors and made our decision to choose Monk’s simple. After agreeing to the proposal, we were given ample opportunity to confirm every detail of the design leading to a successful project. Estimation by Ward M. caught issues way beyond our original reasons for using Monk’s. Rescued us from mistakes painter/carpenters we had hired a year ago made. Gustavo and his associate Justin were terrific not only at assisting Ward in catching all the damage but also in finding ways to fix our porch to ensure it was safe and solid!! They were tireless—- worked the weekend!

Mark and Jon have been wonderful to deal with. As a woman, I have had some unpleasant experiences with pushy, condescending contractors and companies. That was not my experience with the people at Monk's. They are kind, explained all my options, and there have been no unpleasant surprises. What could have been a stressful experience was just the opposite. I am thankful for that.

We hired Monk's to do a 300k remodel of our basement because we decided to move my mom into our home permanently. The end result was more or less perfection. From start to finish, the team worked tirelessly to ensure our satisfaction. I'd like to specifically commend Jared who was extremely thorough by getting us started in the process; Joey B., our project manager who was available to us whenever we needed (there was never a worry that he wouldn't get back to us via text, addressing any needs that arose), and was on-site nearly daily. He seemed to take a personal interest in the project ensuring our overall contentment. And the workers...WOW...nicest guys...and skilled! I cannot compliment their work enough. I highly recommend Monk's Home Improvements; we are definitely going to use them again.

We had our staircase refinished by Monk's, and are very happy with the results! The project entailed both refinishing the railing & painting the risers, spindles and moldings, which required using 2 different crews. Monk's was the only company we contacted who had the capability to provide both services, and to coordinate the 2 crews, which they did seamlessly. Everyone we dealt with at Monk's was knowledgeable, professional and concerned with making sure that we were 100% satisfied with the end results. We would definitely recommend Monk's and would hire them again.

Jason Solomon's crew at Monk's did a fantastic job of power washing and staining our large wooden deck. They were quick, detail-oriented, and responsive. The deck looks wonderful and the price of the job was very reasonable. I highly recommend Monk's Home Improvement.

We worked with Lucia Mastronardi to design a bedroom closet. Lucia was great to work with, and the options provided by Monks totally suited our needs.

The Monks showroom had lots of flooring samples, and Mike Drohan was great to work with. He explained our options clearly and helped us understand what considerations to keep in mind as we made our decision.

This is the second time I have invited Monks and Ward to quote a project in my house. Previously Monks painted and installed flooring in my house which turned out fantastic. This time we wanted to convert our covered porch into a mudroom. After receiving his quote (which was very reasonable) we met Vince as Project Manager and his foreman, Alonzo. Vince coordinated the project including inspections. Alonzo and his crew built the room. Start to finish it was a great experience. I would recommend Monks and will recommend Monks to my family and friends for all of their renovation.needs.

Monk's is exceptional. I was so impressed by Alberto and John's professionalism, flexibility, communications, and how they managed their crew and the timelines. They minimized disruption for us as much as possible. The final product, after a month of sanding, scraping, priming, carpentry and then two coats of paint, is truly extraordinary. My two hundred year old home looks brand new! I am so grateful for their work, the attention to detail was unparalleled, and their willingness to do things even outside the scope, like fixing my gate latch, have put them in a class all their own. Alberto was on site almost everyday with the crew, responding immediately to my questions or requests, and ensuring my voice in every decision being made. They also stayed on budget despite all the unforeseen issues that needed to be resolved so I was really thankful for that. Overall, they exceeded my expectations and I am so thrilled to know my five-generation family home will be set now for another 25 years. Thank you Alberto and John!

Mike and Victor have been fantastic. Mike is responsive and accommodating. Victor and his crew do great work and are always professional. They have been back several times over the last two years to paint the entire house inside and out. They also did some exterior repair work and refinished our kitchen cabinets. My husband and I are very happy with the work Monk has done for us.

Matt and the crew from Monk’s Home Improvement did a great job with our kitchen renovation. They finished job on time, on budget, and left our home clean after project was complete. I would definitely use them again if needed for another project.
