"They came in with their team and went right to work. Only a portion of the basement needed to be waterproofed. They drilled out a 10-inch wide portion of the concrete floor, put stones, pipe, more stones and re-concreted that portion of the floor. Painted that wall with waterproof paint leaving me the rest of the painting to do (my choice). Drilled a hole at the bottom of each cinderblock which drained into a grey baseboard material which then drained into the pipe and flowed into the sump pump. Replaced the old basement window and placed concrete around it. Installed a sump pump, placed the pipe through the wall, placing the water exit pipe into a flower bed. Adding a circuit breaker dedicated to the sump pump. They described everything they were going to do prior to the job and everything they did at the completion of the job. Also, explaining how the sump pump worked. The total cost was $4200.00. The best part they cleaned up after. Oh and before they did anything they placed plastic all around so as not to ruin anything in the basement. I did not have to lift a finger."

As it turned out, they were able to arrive early and they called to see if that would work for me. It did, and Melvin 'Mel' arrived about 30 minutes ahead of the original window. ?? Mel introduced himself and donned his cloth booties so he didn't track any dirt into my home. He then inquired about, examined, and diagnosed the issue, went over the options and we agreed on the cost. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and really informative! He prepped the work areas to protect my wood floors and went back to the truck for the required tools (taking off and replacing the cloth booties). ? I am pretty much bald, so I felt vindicated that it wasn't *my* hair! ? After checking at the cleanout that all the impacted drains were clear, Mel reseated the toilet, set his equipment on the tarp in the hallway, and wiped down the walls (even though the marks were from *my* attempts to fix the clog earlier in the week). ? Once his tools were loaded on the truck, Mel took a 'completion' photo of the powder room where the snake work was done and the outside cleanout where we checked the drains. I wrote a check, signed the electronic 'paperwork', and Mel wished me a great weekend - - which it will be now that I don't have to spend it trying to clear a drain clog that obviously required a pro! I called A. M. Botte to commend their company and Melvin in particular. I will definitely call them again when I need a plumbing professional in the future!"
