"Awesome! I worked with Ed at Main Line Kitchens to design our kitchen during a very stressful whole house renovation / expansion. To say he worked with me is an understatement. Ed might just have earned his counselor credentials as he guided me through some uncertainties, even calling me late one night from home after receiving a distressed email about a decision I was making. He ultimately helped steer me towards a cabinet line that fit my desired look, features, timeline, and budget and helped me see the pros and cons of the choices made along the way. He never pressured me and was able to accommodate a seemingly impossible timeline. He even came out to measure twice without complaint when my contractors weren't ready the first time -- not at all his fault -- but he was gracious and kind and took it in stride. Ed was personable and easy to work with and I never felt like a number in his book. When we received our cabinets I wasn't happy with a couple doors (normal issues you would anticipate with a large order and a perfectionist on the receiving end) Ed worked with the vendor and had them replaced and shipped immediately to me and the job wasn't delayed. The vendor even called direct to ensure I was happy with the replacements. It is clear MLK has a strong reputation with their suppliers. Ed was quick with recommendations for other vendors when I needed materials fast for flooring, countertops, etc. and all the other vendors knew and respected Main Line and Ed. Our new kitchen is truly the center of our home and we have Ed to thank for bringing it all together. I would recommend Ed and MLK to anyone in need of kitchen design services and cabinetry. In fact, I already have. I did my due diligence and shopped around and was very happy with the competitive pricing that came along with the white glove service and hand holding I received through this process. The expertise from the team at Main Line can't be matched. "Carlos was punctual and completed the job ahead of schedule. He took the extra effort to ensure the quality of his work met my satisfaction. I needed him to make a 'custom-made' corner cabinet for me. I ordered three 6 inch shallow cabinets that when pieced together would run from floor to ceiling. However, because they were to go into a corner, the backs had to be cut out. Then he had to install shelving to fit the corner while lining each shelf up with the 6 inch cabinet shelf portion. Every shelf lines up perfectly. I had the crown molding for him, but I was curious as to how he was going to finish-off the outside of the cabinet where the pieces were inset into the wall. Not to worry, Carlos manufactured some side-molding for it for a complete finished look. His craftsmanship and attention to detail is superb. He even made sure the top of this corner cabinet lined-up with the top of my existing cabinets. This is the 2nd time I've had Carlos do a job for me. He's going to do my bathroom next!"

"I had another contractor out, who was talking me out of all of my "dreams" for this kitchen. He said I couldn't have the drawers I wanted, shouldn't do the brick floors, don't know what his excuse for not installing the tin ceiling was ,even tried to talk me out of the counter tops that I wanted,  and was going to use pre built Home Depot stuff.
When I spoke with the guys from Salmaxx, nothing was a problem! They took all my hopes and dreams and not only made them happen, then enjoy doing different things and would ask what I thought about a way they wanted to enhance the idea .  They custom built the cabinets to make every square inch work for us. The cabinets are beautiful quality . I think they thought I was a little crazy with that huge sink ,but they didn't skip a beat with making a really cool "old house" sort of box behind it , made from the butcher block material. The top of the line spigot sprayer is attached to that shelf over the sink and looks so amazing. All extras are top quality . My custom shelves for my tin collection are held up with heavy black wrought iron brackets that match the bird cage cabinet pulls and wrought iron paper towel holder they installed. I came down one day to find that they were even installing the curtain /skirt, that I had purchased, under the sink!
They are clean, efficient and fast, and YES ,I would definitely recommend them to anyone who doesn't just want a kitchen, they want to see their vision happen!"
