Awesome! I worked with Ed at Main Line Kitchens to design our kitchen during a very stressful whole house renovation / expansion. To say he worked with me is an understatement. Ed might just have earned his counselor credentials as he guided me through some uncertainties, even calling me late one night from home after receiving a distressed email about a decision I was making. He ultimately helped steer me towards a cabinet line that fit my desired look, features, timeline, and budget and helped me see the pros and cons of the choices made along the way. He never pressured me and was able to accommodate a seemingly impossible timeline. He even came out to measure twice without complaint when my contractors weren't ready the first time -- not at all his fault -- but he was gracious and kind and took it in stride. Ed was personable and easy to work with and I never felt like a number in his book. When we received our cabinets I wasn't happy with a couple doors (normal issues you would anticipate with a large order and a perfectionist on the receiving end) Ed worked with the vendor and had them replaced and shipped immediately to me and the job wasn't delayed. The vendor even called direct to ensure I was happy with the replacements. It is clear MLK has a strong reputation with their suppliers. Ed was quick with recommendations for other vendors when I needed materials fast for flooring, countertops, etc. and all the other vendors knew and respected Main Line and Ed. Our new kitchen is truly the center of our home and we have Ed to thank for bringing it all together. I would recommend Ed and MLK to anyone in need of kitchen design services and cabinetry. In fact, I already have. I did my due diligence and shopped around and was very happy with the competitive pricing that came along with the white glove service and hand holding I received through this process. The expertise from the team at Main Line can't be matched. If you have a chance to work with Ed, know you will be working with a great person who genuinely loves what he does, and in the end, that passion will show through in your kitchen design.

Great. He came up with a great idea for adding pantry cabinets to our kitchen, and making room for them by moving an entryway nearby 4 inches. Worked out to be wonderful! He came back and helped us with fine tuning. We are very happy and would recommend.

It went pretty well mark took some of our architects design to make it workable , if we didn't I don't think the kitchen would be as functional as it is now.

Our kitchen turned out perfect! Paul came up with some designs that we never would thought of. When we needed some extra parts, Paul was quick to order them. Everything moved smoothly and was right on time. We are really happy with our new kitchen! We would recommend Main Line Kitchen Design to anyone!

They gave me a good design and explained it, but one thing I didn't realize, they didn't give me the plan. So I spent $100 for not getting the plan. I pretty much have to spend more money to move forward with them, and they also did what they wanted to do. They did not do a plan that I wanted them to do. So it's like the buy or beware. It was, I don't know what you want to say about that, but basically it was a special, I think, or whatever they charge. I didn't ask or whatever, but I thought I'd be getting a little bit more out of them, and I didn't like the fact that I spent $100 to get what he wanted. It was more that they did what they wanted to do, what they thought would be the more efficient plan, not what I would have liked done with the room. He didn't ask what things were important to me. It's tough because I don't know if I should have asked those questions before hand. It wasn't fully disclosed that you get to take home the plan. To draft a plan doesn't include the plan itself. He fully explained everything when we went in to meet with him. And I'm sure if he was closer to where we lived, I might have continued on.

My husband and I used Main Line Kitchen Design to renovate our kitchen, bathrooms and mudroom. It was a pleasure working with Paul McAlary from start to finish. The design process with Paul was fantastic. We had many other contractors give their suggestions on how they would renovate our kitchen, but Paul was the only one that suggested a different and more efficient design. Paul’s design maximized the space we had available and provided the best flow for our kitchen. He came to our house for many of the meetings we had so he could conceptualize every design detail. He incorporated the ideas that we wanted to include in our design while keeping our budget in mind. The cabinets and other materials that we purchased from Main Line Kitchen Design were fairly priced and had no hidden costs. Paul was dedicated and conscientious during the whole process including installation ensuring that we received our dream kitchen. Paul ultimately deigned us a beautiful custom kitchen that surpassed our expectations! We highly recommend Main Line Kitchen Design to anyone who is considering kitchen renovation.

I was fortunate enough to speak with the owner. I received a plethora of information and advice. The conversation went well beyond my expectations. In addition, the owner was very personable and courteous. I learned more about kitchen cabinets in the time we spoke than ever before. Due to the fact that this was a long distance phone call, I was not able to employ Main Line Kitchen's Services, otherwise I highly suggest hiring them!

Had we lived closer to Main Line, there is no doubt we would have purchased from them. Instead, we put Paul's seasoned design expertise to good use with our local contractors to build and install a beautiful functional kitchen.

It went great! Paul communicated very well and prompt; He designed the kitchen for the space I had, and he did an awesome job I love the layout! I thought the price was a little steep, but so was everywhere else ;). There were a couple cabinets that weren't built perfect, Paul offered to have guys come out free of charge to make sure the cabinets were just how i wanted.

Everything went great! Cabinets arrived on time and there were no issues.

Paul checked in with us many times throughout the installation process and was incredibly patient with my many questions. Joe did such beautiful work, and I consider my new kitchen to be a true showpiece. Both Joe and Paul made the entire process so easy for us!

Paul was great to work with. He has seemingly boundless energy in answering all of our questions and coming up with solutions. Paul always responded promptly to emails which I really appreciate. Our cabinets are beautiful and we are thrilled with how everything turned out.

When we hit a bump in the road re: installing a farm sink and the cabinet it sat on, the owner came to the condo and provided a solution that looks beautiful and saved us money. Very responsive to our calls, questions, needs. If you are doing a farm sink, make sure your contractor knows how to install. It's not a typical installation.

WE HAD A VERY OLD KITCHEN FROM THE 1960'S. PAUL HELPED US DESIGN OUR NEW KITCHEN. HE MADE A FEW DIFFERENT DESIGNS FOR US TO CHOOSE FROM. HE WORKED PATIENTLY WITH US. HE WENT OVER EVERY DETAILS OF DESIGNS. OUR KITCHEN IS NOW VERY FUNCTIONAL AND BEAUTIFUL. PAUL IS VERY CREATIVE AND VERY GOOD AT HIS JOB. WE LOVE OUR NEW KITCHEN SO MUCH THAT WE ASKED PAUL ALSO TO DESIGN OUR BASEMENT REMODELING FOR US.

The entire process from the kitchen design through installation went as planned.  There were no surprises.
