"Excellent electrical contractor. They installed electrical sub-panel in my basement and then ran wire safely to install electrical vehicle charging station in my garage. They took care of the project completely including the township permit work. They also provided paid invoice receipt after the completion of the job. Very professional, on-time, perfect and very clean work. They finished the job in few hours and also tested my both the electrical vehicles with the newly installed charger. I highly recommend this company. I provide 5-star rating to this company."

"Team of Professionals We hired this company to upgrade our electrical services at home i.e to wire the new portion of home and to rewire the old portion from aluminum to copper. Their prices are reasonable and are fully staffed with a team of professional employees and technicians. Work is still going on at our project and so far have issues with the work.  The best thing is they provide quotes after visiting the location. Their employees are always happy and well trained to keep the customer happy with good work and best customer service. Always show up at the work site with planning and leave the work site clean. I highly recommend this company if you do not want Headache and like to deal with experienced guys.Â"

Ev Charger Installer questions, answered by experts

Local electricians with experience in your area understand the local building codes, which is very important when doing new electrical work. They also have experience with the kind of electrical problems homes in your location may have, and even the components that were used in the original construction, which leads them to make faster and better decisions.

You can plug your electric car into a regular 120-volt household outlet only if you’re using a Level 1 charger. This method is slower and may take several days to fully charge your EV. For faster charging, you’ll need a Level 2 charger, which requires a 220- or 240-volt outlet.

Setting up utilities on a vacant property usually takes at least a few months, or between 6 weeks to 16 weeks. This process requires working with the local planning and zoning department, hiring a building contractor or engineer to design the utility layout, securing permits, laying the lines, and connecting the utilities.

Upgrading your electrical system can save you money on your monthly utility bills by powering your home more efficiently. Electrification nonprofit Rewiring America estimates that a household could save $1,800 per year on energy bills by upgrading to a modern electric heat pump, switching to a heat pump for their water, installing solar panels on the roof, and converting to an electric vehicle.

Hire an electrician the same way you would an employee. Ask questions and look for a good fit. Streamline the process by using these questions to ask an electrician. It's also common to ask for a quote in writing. Don’t forget to provide all the project details to ensure there are no surprises or opportunities for added fees.
