Anderson Blinds, Shades, & Shutters was founded by Tyler Anderson. Tyler was born and raised in Seward, NE. His father runs a family business building custom homes in the Seward county area. While growing up, Tyler worked construction for his dad, which is how he became familiar with the construction and design industries. Tyler attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and installed window treatments for a local company part time while attending college. After graduating he worked in the design and window treatments industry for 2 years before starting this company. “A lot of my inspiration to start this company came from my father. He has always been committed to great customer service, always going above and beyond to give the best experience possible to his customers. I saw that lacking here in Omaha and decided to jump on the opportunity. In doing so, I hope to help realize the dream homes for as many families as possible.”
"I sent in a quote on a Sunday Tyler got back to me the next day made a appointment for that week. I wanted to replace the Oak blinds I had, to the duel shades within two weeks I had them. "Some of the worst service and product I have ever received. Drapes did not fit the windows after the roomsbeautiful "specialists" did their measurements. Drapes arrived crumpled into a small box- which require professional steaming and ironing to straighten. Even so, they tell me if can do it myself, and the drapes looks even worse after ironing. The lining that THEY selected for me looks like reflective trash bags up in my windo from outside. I also expressed concern that I should only get one window treated first as a test, before committing to all 5- and the roomsbeautiful agent persuaded me to just do all 5. So I spend 2000 on these Drapes, which I will never in a thousand years put up in my home. And they won't accept refunds, and they only take zelle payments which cannot be reversed or argued. So WARNING: do not trust this company, and do NOT give them your money!!!"
