"Everlight Solar and their products are great, I would highly recommend it! I was extremely skeptical on this at first, but my energy consigliere Nick Carnagey was very patient and made sure every concern I had was fully addressed. And anytime I had a question or concern he and the rest of the staff at Everlight were always super helpful and quick to respond. The system looks great! It consistently performs as Everlight said it would or better. Our first energy bill with the system on for a month was only $45 which was mostly the basic hookup and service fees. The install process took only an afternoon and the install guys could not have been more professional or courteous. You really can't go wrong with the folks at Everlight and the systems they use and install."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

In Lincoln, electrical work lasts longer when materials are chosen for local temperature swings and moisture-prone basements. Proper surge protection helps during severe storms, while professional installation ensures code compliance and safety. Using copper wiring, upgrading to an appropriate electrical panel, and selecting the right wire size for HVAC systems all contribute to reliable, long-term performance in Lincoln homes.

Helpful?

Upgrading your electrical system in Lincoln can make your home more attractive to buyers and boost its value. Features like a modern electrical panel, whole-house surge protection, and smart home wiring appeal to today’s buyers. Code-compliant and energy-efficient systems reduce inspection issues during a sale and may even help lower insurance premiums, making your property stand out in Lincoln’s real estate market.

Helpful?

For Lincoln homes, copper wiring rated for wet and dry locations is ideal for both safety and durability. Weather-resistant GFCI outlets are important for kitchens, bathrooms, and garages. For outdoor or exposed wiring, use PVC or metal conduit. Upgrading to a 200-amp electrical panel and installing whole-house surge protection can help your home handle modern appliance demands and unpredictable weather.

Helpful?

If your Lincoln home has frequent breaker trips, flickering lights, or outlets that feel warm, it may be time for electrical upgrades. Homes built before 1970, especially those with knob-and-tube or aluminum wiring, often need updates. If you lack GFCI outlets in kitchens or bathrooms, or your electrical panel can’t support central air conditioning, consider a professional assessment for improved home electrical safety.

Helpful?

In Lincoln, warning signs include burn marks on outlets, frequent GFCI or breaker trips, or outdated aluminum wiring. If you notice missing GFCI or AFCI protection, inconsistent outlet performance, or an older electrical panel, it’s wise to schedule an inspection. Electrical work over ten years old, or signs of storm or moisture damage, also suggest your system may need professional attention for safety.
