We can also do general remodeling projects and assist with design and material selection. Mario, owner, does all bids and is on site for all projects. From that day forward he has become a friend who we completely trust entering our cabin to do any project I throw at him. It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

Not only is it a good idea, but experts actually strongly recommend painting your foundation. Modern sealants and waterproof paints often protect your concrete foundation for close to 10 years. Plus, paint protects concrete from UV damage. The right type of sealant combined with an attractive paint color will not only enhance your curb appeal but also protect the concrete that’s so important to your home.

You should let your initial paint job dry at least 12 hours before opening the door. Check your work after 12 hours have passed to confirm there are no uneven patches, or signs of the old paint showing though—if you see any, we recommend applying a second coat of paint and waiting an additional 12 hours for it to dry. 

Most spray paint is fully dry after 24 hours, but knowing when the spray paint is dry depends on the type of dry paint criteria. Surface dry is a surface that’s dry enough for you to apply another coat of paint. Touch dryness is a little dryer than surface dryness and will feel dry if you gently touch it, but it’s really wet underneath the initial touch. Hard dry feels fully dry but can dent or smudge upon extra pressure. Thoroughly dry paint is completely dry. 

Chalk paint can be applied without sanding first. Keep in mind that while there are a lot of chalk paint color options available, there aren’t as many choices as latex or oil-based paint.

You can also learn how to paint furniture without sanding using a liquid deglosser, sometimes referred to as liquid sandpaper. This can remove any old paint, gloss, or varnish, without the need to manually sand. Apply the deglosser using a cloth, then wait for the chemical to penetrate through the surface. Once it soaks through, you should be able to wipe away the residue with a towel. 

If you skip using a primer before painting brick, you risk ending up with a blotchy paint job that won’t last as long. Because of the natural variations in brick, paint can adhere and dry unevenly to different spots. When you use a primer, you put a neutralizing layer between the brick and the paint, evening the texture and color. Without a good primer, paint can also flake off in spots, come out blotchy, and wear away more easily.
