Great individual to work with. Was there when he told me. Skylight has not leaked since Jonathan worked on it. Highly recommend.

  • Price-Rite Home Improvement Inc
Even better than we expected! The windows took about a week to remove and and install the new ones. The workers showed up ever morning at 8 am and worked until 5 or 6 in the evening. And the temp was well below zero the entire time.

  • J & J Repairs & Roofing LLC
J & J Repairs & Roofing LLC's quote was very reasonable. They were fairly fast in response time compared to other companies I contacted to get an estimate. The same day they came out to give me an estimate and left me literature and a couple different contract proposals. It was a really thorough estimate. They guy seemed really professional and polite. Based on my experience to date I would recommend them because they don't seem like they're out to gouge you for every penny they can read less

Easy transaction. Called up Guy on a Tuesday, called me back the next day. Arranged to meet at the house in th evening, he came by and surveryed the job. Gave me a quote. Took about a week for the work to be done, but not his fault. The weather was either windy or raining. Would definitely use again read less

Great experience. They worked quickly and did a good job of cleaning up when they were done. The only negative I can think of is that I wasn't given a specific date that they would be coming, and just came home from work one day to find them working on my house. It was not a problem, just more of a surprise. I was very happy to see them getting the job done, it would just have been nice to receive a phone call or email to let me know they were coming read less

  • Studs To Rugs
PLEASE READ THE WHOL EREVIEW: It has a happy Ending. Original post: Had wind damage from a big storm that moved a pillar attached to a cement stair/porch. Along with some soffiting that blew away. The day that the representative from Studs to Rugs came out, their subcontractor showed up first and then the Studs to Rug’s rep, after going over all the areas that needed work, he said he’d call me later that week with a quote. He ended up coming to my house to present the quote and since it was on par with my insurance quote, I agreed to it. The quote I got from my insurance company to repair the pillar included replacing the white facing around the outside and re-using the internal structural pieces. My quote from Studs to Rugs was for the same amount (within $30) except they don't actually do the work themselves, they hired another contractor to come and do the repair; they also did not replace the white paneling, but re-used the existing paneling. That sub-contractor took off the white panel pieces, and re-attached the pillar (properly), and then reattached the white panel pieces in the wrong order. He then had to drill holes into them in the wrong places due to being mounted in different positions then originally at and the one side that was previously scuffed from the drainage spout(and previously covered by the drainage spout was now facing on the front and the undamaged front piece was now on the side with numerous holes drilled into it for the gutter. My insurance quote included replacing these white panels. A representative from Studs to Rugs did come to go over the work with me after it was done, and I expressed my concern about the white panel pieces and how they were installed incorrect and now had additional holes in them. Dan assured me that it would be repaired in the next few days, the contractor never came to fix it and I never received a follow up phone call to verify that the error had been corrected. The other repairs that were needed were done properly (soffiting repair and a piece of fascia). Another thing that bothered me was the amount of debris, or left over supplies that were left in my lawn, I lost count of the number of screws and nails that I picked up out of my lawn. I'm just happy my dog did not step on one and get injured. This may be a minor and not that expensive problem, but the thing I am most disappointed about is the lack of communication and not following through on promises. I feel it's important to note that I paid them at the point of the walk through after the work was done and this is when he assured me the discrepancies would be fixed. I have not heard from them since. I choose them due to their all A rating on Angie's List, but afterwards I am a little let down. IMPORTANT UPDATE: So after my post here on Angies List was posted, a few days later I received a phone call from Nate who is a Stud’s to Rug’s employee, he wanted to arrange a time to meet with me to look over anything I was not happy with. I was surprised but also happy that they were willing to fix any discrepancies. Once I spoke with Nate I found out that the previous rep I had been working with was no longer with the company. Although I don’t know the specifics, I can only assume that is why my work got left behind. So everything that happened still happened, but it seems to me that Stud’s to Rug’s as a whole didn’t know about it. Nate was extremely professional and he had the white panel pieces that I had previously wrote about, fixed, and painted and I think it looks better than before the whole ordeal. I also received a follow up phone call from Nate and then from Tim the owner. So in the end I feel I was just in the middle of an unfortunate employee departure and you can’t blame the company for that, especially with the level of attention I received once my problem was discovered. I have changed my ratings to reflect the company as a whole and I even changed my checkbox stating that I wouldn’t use them again, because I would. Everyone makes mistakes, and in this case it was just one employee who is no longer there, so you can’t get mad at someone for something they didn’t know about, in looking back, if I would have followed up more, this probably would have been fixed much sooner read less

  • Valley Gutter Service Inc.
Everything went really well. When two of the downspouts were not as we talked about, all we did was send a note with our payment and they came back immediately and corrected it.

  • J & J Repairs & Roofing LLC
I would highly recommend this company and will use them in the future if need be. They were very professional and after all the work they did, cleaned up so you would hardly even know that they had been there. I am extremely happy with the results. I checked around for different quotes before I picked a company to do the work, and I must say, that J&J was very affordable considering what I was having done read less

Arrived promptly, finished the work in good time, took the gutter add-on with good grace and not much money added. The gutter work was excellent. The door work: I want to see some weather on them before I am sure, but so far, so good. I will use again in the spring for gutter work and, possibly some interior cabinet and sheet rock work, etc read less

  • J & J Repairs & Roofing LLC
Work was done to my satisfaction. I had been having a lot of issues with water dripping in between gutters and house in few areas, irrespective of amount of rain/melting snow received. I had both Wagner and Valley back on few occasions, but problem persisted and after a period, I felt like my concern was being ignored. I thought J&J cost was high, but that is the way things are all over this area as of late. You pay a premium and hope for the best. I am not trying to disparage either Wagner or Valley Gutter, but in the future, I will recommend J&J to others who have similar issue read less
