Since it was so nice to not have to deal with spiders, ants, and other pesky insects last year we decided it was worth it to have a general treatment done this year and will probably continue on an annual basis. Technically, yes, chinch bugs can fly. However you won’t usually see them in flight. Chinch bugs like to stick close to the ground and they usually move around by hopping or crawling (which is why they can be hard to see).
