In most cases, the repair is worth the value as it should help maintain the life of the appliance for a longer period, and the repair should be a lower cost than replacing the entire unit. Repairing an AC unit is usually more cost-effective than replacing it, but you should consider the age of your system. Most central AC units last around 15 years, and window units last for between eight and 10 years. If your central AC is more than 10 years old or your window AC is over six years old, you should consider replacing the AC unit rather than repairing it. The repair will fix your issue, but you’ll likely save money in the long run by replacing it rather than repairing it only to replace it a few years later.

However, choosing an AC with BTUs that match the size of your room or house, your unit will cool your space efficiently. Convection ovens are not ideal for cooking custards, quick breads, and other delicate desserts. Many other baked goods cook well in a convection oven; light and flaky crusts bake up perfectly, and convection ovens, with their dry heat, can be used to dehydrate or toast ingredients.
